But things aren't that serious as you described and the only reason why Russia is having the upper hand is because many European countries still need the oil and gas from Russia to satisfy their oil requirements.

Things are kinda serious, when Ukraine shoots missiles into Poland (of Nato), and then tries to blame it on Russia, and then sends destructive drones into Russia and destroys airbases. Russia has had her fill of Ukraine, and the US is thinking twice about what their next move will be.

Russian corruption is to win at fair trade, and then, after everyone trusts her, to clamp down on all the people.

The American banking system is to sneakily create new money off loan promissory notes, sell the notes, and collect the loan payments... or the property if payments aren't made. The American way looks like peace, but loads of people have died trying to make loan payments, when they already paid off their loans with their promissory notes.

I am not in favor of Russia vs. NATO or against anyone, but we should not underestimate Russia. Russia is undoubtedly a strong country with a robust military force and resources; hence it can give a tough time to any nation waging war against it. However, the results can be disastrous for the states and the citizens who would suffer.

And not only that, but Russia's influence worldwide is growing. Egypt has been accepted into BRICS. Other countries are looking at the idea.

One more step to neutralize the influence of the US banking Ponzi.

nato/EU want mid/western ukraine to be part of their membership. but even as far back as 2014 they didnt want the eastern side part of nato/EU.

so that eastern region russia wants annexed as a independant state is something russia and nato agree on.

ukraine want to keep the eastern edge. but nato only want to supply and support the western side an mid side

the only obvious three results are
Ukraine kick russian ass and get russians out of the eastern edge. bu then nato/EU will delay and stall membership into thier groups. due to the eastern edge being to close to russia

ukraine give up the eastern edge. and all is happy and peacetime and ukraine joins nato/eu quick

russia takes over ukraine and a world war begins where all ex-ukraine neighbours join a fight against russia

as for russia's "super power"
well if they did have the power they chest beated about for decades they could have obliterated the eastern zone quick inside 2 days,

some pretend that sending in little skirmishes that lose most of the time are just chess games of trying to play a long game. but thats not true,.

It's the same with nukes and nations. Nukes are the equalizer.

I don't know who is stronger, the US and Nato, or Russia... or China or India or Brazil or any other nation. But nukes are the equalizer that nobody wants to have to use. So, everybody, every nation, will play it safe as they can to avoid the nukes... except Zelensky, that is.

You forget the nukes. But, Russia is being gentle with Ukraine. A few civilians have died, but the precision Russia used to take out the power plants, could have been used directly on civilians.

Also, many of the Nato countries have hurt themselves by following US sanctions against Russia. They aren't ready for a fight with Russia. And, all the while, Russia has been making friends around the world, and selling oil to other countries. Consider BRICS.

The people of the various Nato countries are becoming angry at what their government leaders have been doing... harming them through the sanctions. Soon the Nato people will have to fight the people of their own countries before they can even think about fighting Russia.
