Bismarck said that any agreement with Russia is not worth the paper on which they are written. I agree with this opinion. I don't ever agree on any, even the most profitable business in Russia. Putin fooled.

From what we have seen during the last 10-15 years, the only threat for someone doing business in Russia is red tape (and this situation is improving, albeit slowly). Other than that, the Russian government has never nationalized any private business, or defaulted on any of the sovereign debt. The ease of doing business in Russia is much more than the same in either India or Indonesia.

If Putin, current Russia president, call you and offer to invest your cash in his Bitcoin mining farm in Kremlin, Moscow what you will do ? Invest or hold ? As you may be know, Putin can also promote further investments, so his Bitcoin mining farm can be profitable.

Putin has lifted up Russia who is suffering from economic crisis and is started to fall down. But with his expertise Putin has made Russia go back to the list of countries having a good economic movement. If Putin is calling people to invest in his mining farms then I will not think twice and invest on his mining farm. Given his good managerial and economic expertise I am confident that I will gain huge profit from my investment if it is Putin running the show.

Due to the current problems that are going on in Russia right now I just don't think I'd be able to fully go ahead and invest money anywhere in Russia due to the fact that I'd feel it would be wildly easy for the money to be confiscated by Russian authorities if they see fit.

The amount of corruption that is present in the Russian Government is disgusting to look at, they're one of those countries that bribing is accepted due to it having to occur to have business dealings be conducted.

Also, I feel Putin would simply just confiscate the earnings and everything else if my operation was to get large.

If it is going to by a cloud-mining contract than I don't think I will be investing my moneys into his operations.

Other than that: sure why the hell not?

As to your imaginary scenario of Putin opening up Kremlin and inviting us to have a pie in a Bitcoin mining under his watch, that can be a good proposition but I won't ever invest in there because you would never know if you can take your money outside of Russia.

I have the same opinion. Putin, and the Russians are very unpredictable. Took at what happened to the TNK-BP. When they find out that when a business is operating in profit, they will just nationalize it.

Personally, I know that right now Putin is a very significant world leader parly because he forcefully improved the quality of living for many Russians and he was able to amass great power for himself making him actually a virtual dictator in Russia/ people are not complaining because the government is always there4 for them even in times of difficulties. Putin knows what he is doing and so far he had not committed any series of big blunders. Europe fears Putin and now USA is befriending and starting to truth the man.

He is a strong politician, raised the country's economy. Many admire him, although they hide it. I would invest.
