Theoretically in the next month Monero will have a longer lasting solution by changing the algorithm to RandomX, but in practice we will see if it will work.

Probably the end of this month but it will bring a rush of CPU miners as there are comparatively many more CPU servers then modern GPU in circulation.
Thus, it's hashrate will surely be more than before. Also, it's easier to implement CPU based algo in FPGA and ASIC but ASIC won't see much daylight as in next algo change cycle, they will be rendered useless.

Monero has been hardforking every 6 months or so and I don't know if this is really a healthy approach.

very poorly written article. The fork to X16rV2 was to get rid of the asics that had taken over the network, while that didnt remove all of the asics, it brought the difficulty back down to where you could mine profitably on a gpu. This is just a interim measure while a bigger algo change is in the works.

I wish people would actually get the facts, instead of spewing jaded bullshit to push fud.

I guess it is time to accept the harsh reality. It is impossible to get rid of ASIC's completely. Maybe it is better that way. Bitcoin embraced this reality and so far it is doing fine. Monero has been hardforking every 6 months or so and I don't know if this is really a healthy approach.

Raven coin mining is quite profitable. More profitable than btg. So the fork worked! earnings should be leveled out with all the other gpu minable coins.

You should not expect anything more. It's still a bear market for mining and will be for quite some time. A couple more years at least so get used to getting crumbs or eating some electric cost loss

This is what I ask for RVN fans from their announcement thread here on the forum if they actually remove all ASIC including FPGA but they keep saying that there is a little drop on the difficulty.

But honestly, I don't see any changes in the difficulty after the hard-fork it's obvious to see a bit drop because other miners don't know the hard-fork who still mining on the old node or pool server.

If they actually solve the issue about the ASIC including FPGA we should see a big difficulty drop.
