I had high hopes for Ravencoin but I haven’t seen much happen with it. I assumed by now there would be plenty of projects paying dividends and communicating with their holders. I assumed Overstock would be issuing shares on the RVN chain and there would be marketplaces trading ticker symbols. So far all I’ve really seen is it be used by pump and dump groups to buy at $0.02 and sell at $0.1. I hope that changes.
Without VC funding or exchange manipulation I don't see how RVN could get to $1. I currently wonder if the only pump RVN had last bull run was caused by a pump group from dog coins trying to meme any animal coin. Maybe its only path to $1 would be if ETH and other layer 1's get classified as a securities while Ravencoin remains a viable option for trading and settlement of other securities.
So, when will it hit $1, any timeline?
Just like that for many other coins like Raptoreum,EthereumPoW,Ethereum Classic and Ethereum Fair plus Zilliqa they are expecting something like this a minimum of tenfold multiplier up to a very very big multiplier like over x100 and these predictions were being made when we had the last bull run in 2021.(ETHW and ETHF did not exist back then but nevertheless they are part of such family now)
It does not make any sense to make such a generic prediction that RVN will go to 1 dollar,instead we should expect every major coin which RVN is one of them together with the ones I listed that most probably will skyrocket in price when the next bull run will come,we just don't know when it will come but we know that it will come and it is better to have as many of the coins we think that will skyrocket in our possession when this time comes.
So, when will it hit $1, any timeline?

There are a lot of predictions for this coin in the article.I think that the price of 1 dollar is high, although we can see 10 or 15 cents this year or next.Some miners still support mining on 4 GB video cards through various tricks, but in April it will not be profitable.
So, when will it hit $1, any timeline?
RVN is not currently mined on 4GB graphics cards.

I am also exploiting it, this is a fairly potential project, although I don't know how profitable it is yet, I have high hopes for this project, currently I am exploiting it with my PC at house is 20 RVN per day. I hope the price will increase to 5$ in the near future. 
I can say that RVN is still mining by lots of miners and have a nice trading volume and this is great. RVN have not disappeared as lots of coins from previous pump. It means that $1 is possible, but i think that not this year at least.

I thought the same and I invested into rvn and cfx since they seemed the next best options after eth. Also because of the new GPUs being released with eth limiters. Then came ergo so I invested some of my funds to that as well. By the time eth goes pos there will be other cryptos and maybe new algorithms that favor gpu mining. You never know what's going to happen

You have your own decision to convert your ETH to RVN. Good luck with that. I already have enough RVN, but I want to have many ETH because of this ETH more promising than RVN.But personally, I am waiting for RVN to reach $1, but I am not expected to see RVN reach that price this year or next year. If the price can hit that price, that will be a surprise for me.
yes never underestimate any altcoin.i understood it with etc. I was so surprised and very sad. because i had lots of etc and sold them cheap

RVN's all time high was in mid Feb when it reached around $0.3. Ever since then Price has been on a downtrend to $0.07 today. the downtrend started off way before that of major coins like BTC and ETH started.
Honestly, if RVN's price is to pump to $1, it may not happen this year. Probably, the next bull run... that's if the coin survives the crypto winter.

ETH 2.0 will come at the end of 2022. I wouldn´t mine ETH and convert it to RVN, you make better deal mining and hold ETH or change it to BTC.
And there are many other alternatives to mine -> ERG is a better alternative (my opinion) -> less power consumption than ETH mining -> nearly the same profit like ETH (at the moment) -> you only need 2GB vram to mine ERG (it stay on 2GB, it will not increase)
