I can't get rx 470 in any places.

What about rx 460 hash rate?

Is it worth it? What about power consumption?

no too old now, and the profut is very low, maybe look at nvidia alternative they hash better now that ETH is not that good in profit, they can also hash better the new skunk hash algo, which is still good in profit

With the current DAG I am getting between 9 and 11 depending on the card and the memory timings it can take. I have been running them a while so almost ROI but now, with current price, I can no longer recommend these to someone to buy unless you can buy a used one very cheap.

90*c is good, right?

Not much. The 128bit memory bus limits their performance.

They also need the pixle patcher ran after bios mod, unlike the 570/580.

I've seen more than a few cards that only do ~10.5 stock and struggle to hit ~11.2 with a bios mod.

Couldn't you extract more hashpower from those 460/560 GPUs by tweaking mem timings too? Since they're Polaris cards one should be able to edit their bios?

nah i don't think so, don't buy now, little card with no density, they are not good, now it's the time for the big boy, the profit is very high the return is very fast, buying cheap gpu is aksing for losing profit

Some cards are flashable to 1024 SPs, which is the same as the RX 560. AMD did a bad job of disabling the stream processors so they can be reenabled to provide a performance boost. I have the noname visiontek model so I can't say anything about this, but it should provide a marginal hashrate boost. Link for a few BIOSes here, you may be lucky if you have one: http://overclocking.guide/amd-radeon-rx-460-unlocking-1024-stream-processors/

Sapphire also sells an already unlocked one. No need though if you buy one of these cards and unlock.

I got Gigabyte rx 460 4GB with micron memory (cant modd  Sad ) and I get 12.8MH ETH on 1900MHz mem and 37W (-36mV). Not bad for that price but takes a pci-e spot for not much MHs.

I would not invest in lower series AMD currently, DGB-Skein gives a real nice profits with: http://mylifegadgets.com/GTX1080TI, set them up with: http://mylifegadgets.com/MSIZ170A

IMO the cost of the 1080ti are not worth what you get back in Hash, especially for ETH. The 460 is a low cost entry point and with current prices can still ROI in a relatively short time.

I mine with a few Rx-460's on ETH. Getting about 12 Mh with about 45W of power usage. It is still profitable to mine with these cards.
