Just run 1100 MHz on core and 2000 Mhz on memory and you'll fine. Undervolt some like 850 mV maybe.
Is 850mV is the safest undervoltage for rx580 gpus ? Cos some people are using 75 watts mining with their rx580 and I can't get the same watt power draw from my gpu, right now it's mining at 90watts with 850mV using wattman, is there something I'm missing here?
Rx580 can still go lower as 800mv but if you plan to overclock 820mv is the lowest I can go on this card with 79watt power draw and also the following oc settings
Cclock 1150 and Mclock 2170, getting 30mh with this settings on Ethereum

Hy all, I have 6x Sapphire N+ RX 470 4GB mining edition Samsung memory and these are my settings:
Core 1120MHz, CoreV 800, Memory 2100 MHz, memoryV 850, REF 20
Getting 13,5-14,2 MH/s stable 99,9% runnig 5 days, power drain in software 490-500W for the 6 cards.

Have good mining.

I have a 470 here and i undervolted to 800mv at 900 mhz, memory 1751 mhz and it does 11 mhs on rvn, 67 watts on software and 115 watts on the wall, use your skills trolls.
And I set the GPU voltage to -800 and my farm, in addition to mining, also generates electricity Grin
KawPow algorithm is the largest in terms of electricity consumption.
You have a unique video card if it can work with such settings on the same algorithm.

I'm not mining with it, I just tested few days ago, yeah kawpow rvn is pretty electricity heavy, not worth the heat unless you live in a cold place.

so GPU mining is still not dead for you  Smiley
You still have a 470 there ? I thought GPU mining died in 2018  Grin
What a big change Smiley

Man the 470 4gb card I have only pushes 7.5mhs on raven with 1100/850 core and 2000/850 memory.  Any OC beyond that maybe gets me 7.6.  Is there any bios flashing needed to achieve higher on kawpow?
You dont need mod bios for raven. just run it with teamredminer. maybe 1st start with default settings then try limit power from wattman, mine rx470 4g gets straight away 12.5-13mhs but i do limit power because kawpaw burns alot and makes my gpus hotter then i get 11.5-11.7mhs

I have a powercolor 470 4gb with hynix memory.  1100/850 core and 2000/850 memory.   I cant get the card above 7.5mhs on raven.  Why is this card so subpar and cant achieve 11-13mhs

I thought I had the worst cards. My graphics cards do not work with overclocked memory.

I have the same problem. I upgraded BIOS 3 times. After increasing the memory frequencies I have a lot of rejected shares.
MSI Armor RX470 4Gb . TeamRedMiner latest ver.Hive OS.
Try increasing the core voltage to 950 or 970
Maybe you can look for straps for your memory, just keep the old BIOS.
Start by checking the current strips of your video card.

try this: reset your OC in wattman then run teamredminer and look the speed i know it will consume crazy power but wait then try lower power limit to 10-20%, then switch memory to fast timings and give around memory 1900-1950mhz. Raven dont need much memory speed it is not ethereum. as soon as you limit core and memory with undervolting it will suffer thats why play with power limit. it is same thing that you been undervolting on eth. good luck

The most stable overclock settings for a rx470 I had here is 1200MHZ for core and 2100 for MHZ, overclocking stability depends entirely on the memory of the gpu, mine is a OC editing Micron memory, I used 850mV too

I have 5 card rig RX570, gpus @ core 1100 / 850mV, mem 1900
Wattage from wall - 950W
Every card doing ~ 13.3MH/s with teamredminer
So thats alot more from what you are reporting, 89W is unbeliveably low

they probably mine CN or Ethereum. RVN minning protocol is more demanding.
Some rx580,very few can be undervolted at less than 850. You need to edit the bios and see ( and try ) if its possible on aspecific card, one by one
I got mine down to 840mV using wattman but doesn't give more hashrate, only power draw was lower than before, I don't know how further I can lower the core voltage I don't want to mess things up but 840mV seem very stable, I run it all night till next morning with no issue

Does bios modding help the RX 580, 570, 480, etc. cards when mining raven?

are you talking about wattman? 80-90w? i know that rx470 will draw 130-150w on kawpow ofcourse if you want get 12-13mhs as soon as you undervolt too much you will get 10mhs 120w. and eth 110w. always look what wall says to you.
You are wrong, I'm mining with a rx580 here at 89watts max and I'm getting 30mh per second from the card mining Ethereum, if you are getting 100 watts+ then you are wasting electricity, you need to lower voltage to 850mV

Are you measuring wattage with a meter at the wall and removing wattage of gpu less rig...because if you are using what the miner shows then you are only seeing some of the power draw not all.  AMD does not report what is being drawn through bus/riser....Nvidia reports closer to total power used.

Alot of people look at miner and think its accurate...but its not.
Yes exactly.
He believes his rx580 consuming 89watts

He's not wrong, a lot of 470's don't underclock very well.

Raven coin draws more watts than ethereum when mining that's why I don't like other algorithm, another algorithm that draws less power than ethereum is Monero algorithm (RandomX)

Ravencoin (kawpow) draws 115watta on RX580 and just 85watts for mining Ethereum
