It could assuming it's still recognized as a device, when you say powers up fine I assume you mean the system sees a GPU like usual, just can't get the monitor output.. If that is the case it would mine fine.. Only way to know is to try it..

thanks, I will definitely ask the seller if the gpu is recognized in system when it's plugged in and we will find out

Hi, I just found rx 480 for really bargain price because there is no monitor output, but it powers up fine and fans are working. I'm just wondering if this card can be teoretically used for mining, If there is only problem with some connector to screen it can be fine but there can be more problems probably... Or how to find out that the card works and can be used? Thanks
