Topic: RX 570 8gb DROP HASHRATE AFTER WIN 10 UPDATE! (Read 268 times)

Disabling the update from services doesn't help, Win10 will force an update and override the setting. I had the updates disabled and it still installed them.
Going back to a previous build or uninstalling the update is a temporary fix.

Now it happens all the time. You can try to cancel the update and revert back to a previous version of Windows 10. Windows always saves the restore point. If this does not help install software to prevent updates. Then remove the GPU driver from the system. Install the driver for mining. It allows you to work correctly GPU with upgraded BIOS. I think after that all will be restored.

Merit me or don't.
Depends how lazy you are.

Lazy method is go to Start - type 'Reset PC" then click 'Reset PC to an earlier build'

then after it resets go to click Run and type Services.msc and go down to Windows Update, click on it, click the tab click 'disabled' and make you click 'Stop' to stop the program running too.

Or if not, go to Radeon settings and tweak the settings to Compute rather than Graphics.

I had the same issue on a couple of mining rigs. DDU seemed to help and then reinstalling the Blockchain driver.
This morning I got the unpleasant surprise after Win10 update, 6 gpus mine 0-5 mhs.
DDU and reinstalling the driver/afterburner doesn't help so I'm wondering if anyone had a similar issue?

Thankfully, the Win10 update didn't break your caps-lock key...   Roll Eyes

uh wow, good thing I read this thread. After checking my mining rig I noticed a significant decrease in hash rate as well. Thanks  Roll Eyes

You don't need to unibstall the old drivers. Just go into Radeon settings and enable Compute mode for each GPU.

And run the pixel patcher.

Also, what he said is right. Didnt even need to change to compute (dont have relive anyways). Just had to un install and re install patches from pixel patcher and reset afterburner.

Hi everyone
My rig has 4 RX NITRO + 8gb sapphire, i managed to make 30mh/s flashing bios with AMD Blockchain Driver!
The other day by mistake i pushed restart and update on windows 10 and i got installed the new win 10 update so i did the rollback but since that day my card max hashrate now its again 18mh/s like it is in stock!
Should i flash again the bios or reinstall windows 10?

Thanks

I had the same issue yesterday evening, had to DDU the blockchain driver and reinstall it.
