Hi guys.

As you know, in linux we cant modify powertune, core, memory and volts.
Thats why i am setting all in Polaris Bios editor.

Anyway strange thing.

In windows card is doing 24MH and takes 120 watt from wall
while booting the same rig in linux takes 150 watt from wall and motre less the same speed (slightly lower)

What is that ? Is windows using some extra options or wattman is doing something while in linux its not  ?

Here are my settings:

Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F -epsw x

 Huh

Small correction: https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/wolfamdctrl-priv.png

Wolf0, is wolfmemctrl available for download? Your text says a "tool from the private version of wolfamdctrl"?...

No, but a slightly newer version will be available in EthOS soon - they're integrating it now.

ok the problem is that linux doesnt respect memory, core and voltage values from bios.
It overrides by his own.
So we need to make tool for overclocking and undervolting to get the same results as in windows.

with default kernel 4.4 its the same.

i am using bios with 30MH and 100 wattage while in linux :

it is doing 27MH/ and taking 155watts Smiley

Here is photo of some sys info, as you see, clocks are ok i guess, but i think that undervolting is not working.
