I am currently running Crimson Re-Live Beta Blockchain Workloads Aug-23. Is this why i can't use afterburner/trixx/wattman ? Only thing i can control is fan speed in trixx

p.s. i read mining.help ..i will go on modify stock bios, just the straps, flash it, and then try to use overdriveNtool. I will report back

To overclock using Claymore, use the latest Adrenaline drivers and put the parameters in the config file or command line. Also set the GPU's to compute mode in AMD settings and reboot. You can adjust the core/memory clocks/voltage, power limit and temp/fan speeds using Claymore. Verify the settings using HwInfo.

...use the Claymore config file to apply the overclock and undervolt settings at runtime...

Is there something special I need to do in order to get this to work? I have not had any success, the settings don't seem to take. Do I need to uninstall Wattman in order to use the config file to adjust speeds?

If you want to use the compute drivers, Afterburner will not work with AMD Crimson 17.11.xx or 17.12.xx drivers and multiple cards. Either use the Claymore config file to apply the overclock and undervolt settings at runtime, or use OverdriveNtool to create overclocking profiles for your cards as explained on www.mining.help.

If you want to use Afterburner with multiple cards you need to use the AMD blockchain drivers and you are limited to 8 AMD cards.

My bios is already altered for ETH mining, and I understood that afterburner does not work and i need to edit bios again and burn to cards. I have not tried afterburner yet though ..

p.s.: tried afterbuner ..sliders are grey and i can't move them

Hello, I dont know why but i cant modified any value with afterburner, its blocked. I only can change the speed fan but that is for nothing related to overclocking task. Do you have any guide for the RX570 gpus? I said that because i can use it with the RX580 sapphire pulse but i cant with the RX570 nitro radeon. Thanks.

i can't modify gpu and memory clocks ..not in afterburner, not in trixx, not in wattman ..could that happen because in bios, last 2 rows in memory tab and last 3 rows in gpu tab have same frequency ?

Sound like GPUs tuning, Try it using Afterburner. I assume "The Someone" trying to said, "Decrease mem-clock and increase core-clock". You could try it first before you mod your GPUs bios. Good Luck!

Hi there. I have a rig with 6x RX570 nitro+ 8GB with hynix memory. Here is my current bios http://oi68.tinypic.com/2d8rv3r.jpg
I want to switch from ETH to LUX, which has an algo that uses more gpu, and less memory. Someone told me that i need to take my memory -500 and increase gpu by small 50 steps and see when i can reach the hashrate that my card should be doing. I don't know exactly how editing should look like, but i have some ideas. Don't know if they're correct, but that's why i posted, i'm seeking help Smiley
My guessing is the following ..on memory tab, i should have first row with 300mhz and 1000v and a second row with 1700mhz and 1000v...on the timings, do i need to delete last 2 rows ? or put them as in the original bios ? ..also, on gpu, i am guessing that after the first line with 1130mhz and 65286, i should go +50 mhz and +1mv on each following rows ? example 1180 with 65287, 1230 with 65288, 1280 with 65289 and so on ?
