Unfortunately, the fight will not push it seems both parties do not agree on the deal and the negotiation stopped, Romero will instead fight Isaac Pitball Cruz in the Thurman - Tszyu title fight, I will have to lock this thread and anyone can create a dedicated thread for this fight or discuss this on the Thurman - Tszyu title fight

Rolly Romero will defend his 140-pound title against Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz in the Tszyu-Thurman PPV co-main event on March 30, sources told Mike Coppinger.

A rematch would be a bit impossible with Tank given that he's up to bigger competitions on his weight class. Will be sad if this fight with Romero wouldn't be happening given that words were already exchanged between the two parties and that fans are already hyped about this match. We'd only know once their management already release their official statement about it. For now let us enjoy the hype til both managements are pushed to continue this fight.

They can find a way if Ryan would really like to have a rematch. It was a huge success on their last fight, so if we are talking about money here, that is not a problem as boxers will once again enjoy a huge paycheck and promoters will be happy with the return of their investments. However, my worries here is it could be Ryan Garcia not thinking straight to ask for a rematch against a boxer who knock him out in a one sided fight.

Ryan has to have more fights to keep his condition on a perfect condition, make more impressive fights by ending them in KO and then he can go back to Tank Davis to challenge for another championship fight.

With money that is guaranteed to make, this fight is not impossible to happen.

Ever heard of the news that Ryan divorced his wife for this match? Well, things would be serious for Ryan I guess if that's true. We all know that he suffered bigtime from his first loss against Tank, and for sure he's prepared for this match. He is advantageous with experience, reach, and hieght which are really important factors in boxing as we all know. I know Romero has his own strategy to pull out and for sure he won't let this be an easy win to Ryan but let's see how things will go for this match. One thing's for sure; this match will be exciting to all enthusiasts and fans around the globe.
I watched some interviews about Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero fight and they are saying that Ryan Garcia has already backed out of fighting negotiations with Rolly Romero. Ryan says he doesn't care about both Isaac Cruz and Rolly Romero and he doesn't need to fight them. It's better if Isaac Cruz vs Romero will fight. Ryan Garcia just wasted the negotiations about fighting Romero. I think Ryan Garcia really wants to have a rematch against Tank Davis.

Romero will fight. Ryan Garcia just wasted the negotiations about fighting Romero.
Bad move if this is true. Why would he refuse a championship fight when there's a chance for him to become a champion again. He needed to be back to the top soon and I think Rolly is an easy route than other fighters out there. Ryan hasn't been impressive despite winning his last fight via KO as he did not control the fight, there are rounds that he lose and that scares his fans. Taking Romero for me is good and it's good that both are trash talking as that will gain attention to the fans and will result to another huge PPV revenue.

I think Ryan Garcia really wants to have a rematch against Tank Davis.
He better not think of this if he still wants to save his career. I mean he is still young, he still have more fights waiting for him and has a chance to be a champion again. So it doesn't make sense to have a rematch with Tank Davis which we all know he will just destroyed again.

I don't know, but does that mental problem attack again on him?

Floyd promoted this fight weeks ago. It created confusion since Rolly had to fight Davies. But then it was said Ryan challenged Romero for the super LW. That is the date as tweeted https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1750434101570474230

They both suffered the loss from Tank, so it wouldn't be bad to see which of them is better. I think Ryan has the edge in this fight. He'd be the favorite and it was also planned that he will be fighting Haney after Rolly.

Same here, Garcia has power and Rolly are not as quick as Davis. So may the best man win, but I'm betting on Garcia to win by KO too.
There's no official betting odds on this fight yet since it's not yet official but I believe Ryan Garcia will be listed as the heavy favorite even though he is the challenger.

The two are engaged in a thrash talk by the time the fight starts they are going to hate each other in the ring which might even result in a brawl, the boxing community likes it when two fighters show up to fight in the press conference and inside the ring.
Every media conference is worth watching because we all know both can do thrash talks and they are good at doing they even win the thrash talks of the year, but the fight is won inside the ring, so even if Romero is good in thrash talking, Ryan will end up beating this guy, I hope the fight finally finalize I wonder who gets the biggest share on PPV and gate receipt I'm sure its Ryan because he is a crowd drawer.

This should be a title fight, Rolly Romero holds the WBA super lightweight title, but it's obvious that it was a controversial win by Rolly.

But in any case, it's a classic fight, both have power, but I think Ryan will be smart about this fight, he might have learn a lot from fighting Tank Davis. And with Derrick James guiding him and this is their second fight, we might see him winning in a hard fought match. And I wouldn't be surprised if he will catch Rolly with his left hook and knocking him out and then winning a belt at 140 lbs.

I want this fight to happen they are in the final stage of the negotiation, these are two thrash talkers, and when we have two trash talkers fighting inside the ring expect a lot of drama, no one wants to get beaten on their thrash-talking, it's going to be a battle of power and skill inside the ring and a battle of who is the best thrash talker while doing press and media conference.
Rolly Romero's last fight was not that good he was almost beaten by the aging Barroso in a controversial stoppage, while Ryan is very convincing in his fight against
Oscar Duarte.
I thought Ryan Garcia would lose on his previous fight but he knew how to make an adjustment and he KO'd his opponent. Based on what I observed, looks like Ryan has matured and he added some defensive style, and with his power on both hands, he can hurt Rolly who is not an undefeated. Both fighters fall to the hands of Tank Davis, so we they are just leftovers, lol. But Rolly is the champ here, so Garcia has a chance to be a champion if he steal the belt from Rolly.

I have Ryan here winning by knockout, I believe that Ryan can connect his left hook because Romero is stationary and very stiff, he is very careless when moving forward, and he can easily connect that left hook.

The negotiation is in its final phase and the news has been leaked that they are finalizing the negotiation if the fight is 100% sure I will lock this thread and I or someone can create an official announcement, while they are undergoing the final phase of the negotiation who you got and will the fight finally push through

The tentative date for the fight has been announced by a long-time journalist Dan Rafael, and he revealed that the bout is scheduled for April 20 in Las Vegas. This anticipated bout is poised to take center stage as the headline event of a DAZN pay-per-view offering. Moreover, as it turns out, the WBA super lightweight world title will be at stake for this bout. However, he claimed that the fight is still in its negotiation phase.
