It uses a blockchain that already exists in the market and is much cheaper than ethereum. In particular for swap transactions. First, title is misleading.

Second, even if it rest on ETH or BSC network it is still considered as meme coin.

I'm sure you know the definition of it, just a fad that will go away. You yourself said it's a bit of fashion, as everyone is really on the meme thingy right now and they are being pump so hard. So maybe this will be the case as well, just being used for pump and dump scheme.
