AES is the Answer, I don't know if Ryzen supports AES in their CPU, if it does you an activate in bios or browse  about it on the internet, with AES on Intel CPU its a big boost and I bet you won't regret it, do not hesitate to say a thank you after

You can try out mining monero with free miner XMR-STAK-RX where you don't have to mess with command lines as you have to with Xmrig and other monero miners. I think xmr-stak-rx can improve your hashrate which you are looking for. Check it.

Herry Toms go home now. Your commandline comment is stupid. Don´t write it in any thread, other peoples believe it.

XMRig can also used like XMR-Stak  Roll Eyes

So you get higher hashrate with 6 instead of 8 threads that leads me to belive that you är running your rams in slot: A1,A2 or maybe B1,B2.

Most of times its channel A1 & B1 it A2&B2 so that you get dual channel and not single channel.

For the records my 14nm ryzen 1600s so 3800/4000 hashes @ 3.3ghz

So Yea check your motherboard manual for correct slots for your ram sticks.

MSR tweaks are integrated into XMRig, you just need to run it as admin. Your next step is to tweak memory timings using Ryzen DRAM calculator.

I thought i had huge pages enabled, restarting pc once more worked, now 15m. average is about 3700 H/s without anything running in the background, which seems ok. But can i do more? Maybe i should tweak RAM for lesser timings but lower speed?

Hi, my rig is Win 10, Ryzen 2600, RAM 2x8GB 3000MHz 16-20-20-38, huge pages on. Im using XMRig for RandomX mining, my speed results are about 2200 H/s reported by NiceHash Miner and 2600 H/s 15 min. avg. from XMRig, config for 6 threads, on 8 i was getting lower results.
I read that users of Ryzen 2600 were achieving over 4000 H/s. What can i do to have similar speeds?
