Usually, I'd suspect the PSU when all 3 hash boards show 0 asics, but I saw you mention

... stopped working one by one.

In that case, I would say with at least a probability of =>90% that all hash boards have actually diead, Bitmain makes these gears terrible enough in the production phase, I would not be surprised if the repaired once come out even worse, that repair guy is in a bad mood and he rushes to fix the 100 hash boards he has in the basket next to him before 5 pm because he doesn't want to stay late, he quickly solders those chips and heatsinks using the terrible med-temp adhesive, assemble the miner and off he goes, and we all know there is probably no quality-control unit there, the "at best" just plug-in the fixture tool and count the number of chips and that's all about it.

If you have tried a different control board, a different PSU there is nothing else you can do, you will need to send the boards for repair, but since your first experience with Bitmain wasn't so great, you might want to find someone else to fix them.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I tried all the steps mentioned.
Disconnected and reconnected hashboard cables, tried swapping them out with cable from a working miner, but no change.
I then swapped out the control board with one from a working s17+ and flashed s17e firmware on it, still nothing.
Even tried swapping out the psu but no change.

Running out of ideas. Normally at this point i'd send it to bitmain hong kong site for repair, but this is a replacement unit with mixed hashboards and no serial number on the body, so i doubt they will even repair it. I wish they gave some warranty on the repair units....

'The right to privacy matters'
In every case it does not see the boards all read 0 chips.

You could have a dead controller
You could have a psu issue.

You could have Both.

Open the gear clean the controller.
Plug and unplug the white communication cables.  Blow all connections and jacks with air fire  it up and see if it sees a board.

If it does work good, if not swap in a controller from another unit.

Hello.

I have this antminer s17e that is not detecting any chips on any of its hashboards. I opened it up to check for loose heatsinks or burnt chips but all the hashboards look like new. Pressed the heatsinks and they are all firm. This is a replacement S17e I received from bitmain a couple of months ago, and has mixed hashboards. it used to work fine when it first came but the hashboards have slowly stopped working one by one. Can someone give me any troubleshooting tips? I'm attaching the kernel log underneath.
