ok thank you very much for the advice.. i was able to turn them down to 90% and maintain reasonable temps... would love a fix to save a little bit of electricity and fan life

I never liked the fan control of the stock firmware even on the older models, although it's not half as bad as it is with the S19 pro, they "could" fix that in future firmware releases but that could and will likely take forever, I see nothing wrong with setting static RPMs on your fans, it's what I have been doing for years and it works great, you will need to adjust it every couple of months (summer vs winter) and that's all about it.

simply put

fan rpm sitting on low while temps rise to 84
eventually speeds up and cools down but damage is done

anybody have a solution? hope for a firmware update that fixes this

s19pro temp fluctuating from 68C to 85C
brand new miner hashing but with crazy temp fluctuations, i dont suspect it'll live too long.

Issue is the fan RPM control.
First fans sit at 2800 rpm while temps rise to mid 80's  Shocked
Then fans increase to max at 6200 rpm
Finally temps drop to 60s-70s and fans slow to 2800rpm
repeat  Cheesy

currently have the fans static at 100%  Undecided but would like a proper fix

anybody else seen this?

thanks
chance
