One hash board is broken, and was blocking whole unit.

What to do with a broken hash board?

Looks like I may have this problem as well.

Miner will not stay connected to the net.

I have tried 3 different eth cables as well to rule that out

if you swapped in a good controller and a good  psu .

I can think of three other things

1) that the controller was from a different batch and will not work with a newer set of hash boards.

 2) every thing is good except the ethernet cable

3) every thing is good except the ethernet jack on the switch.

if there would be problem of Ethernet, how would he connect to the antminer and make screen?

more then often you would be correct.

I have been able to connect to miners but not to the net.  sometimes the router and switch will let the in house communications work.

turned out he found one bad hash board.

Controler from same batch, tried on other cable and other jack on the switch.
