Like everyone has said it is a big risk unless you can pay with credit card. Most of these sellers only accept wire transfer or bitcoin.

More than likely they do not include the PSU. Another factor to consider is fast they ship.

If they have a good shipping option to assure you that you will receive the items that is a good price.

Buy, sell and store real cryptocurrencies
$1000 seems to too good to be true. Personally i will pay more to buy from the official website or a trusted member here. Had some bad experience with the individual sellers in Alibaba and its sister company.

However if you want to take up the good offers, please do research on the company and reputation as the payment methods are only TT and western union. If there is any problem, I don’t think you can get your money back.

Just curious if this is a safe place to buy miners. (alibaba.com)

I got a few quotes for S9s, and if I buy 3, they charge close to $1000/each. IS this a scam?

It is like a lotery, not every offert is counterfeit so check legit and if it look good you can buy this S9

I think alibaba is like the ebay of china. Better check the seller's info first before doing any transaction.

Alibaba and Aliexpress are famous for selling counterfeit stuff, but it doesn't mean that all they're selling are fakes. If I remember correctly, they also sell lots of legit items that are Chinese brands. Makes sure that you're 100% sure that they're legit before continuing on with the purchase. Though why not just buy from the source instead? Just to be extra sure. https://shop.bitmain.com/antminer_s9_asic_bitcoin_miner.htm

I don't know about alibaba, but 1000$ a S9 sounds quiet cheap ! Are they new ?
I just bought from Bitmain 2 months ago and it was close to 1300$ with PSU and shipping, so that offer from Alibaba sounds a bit strange.. especially if they are new.
Maybe it's okay but be very careful. When the deal looks too good, there is often a hidden thing !
You can still buy them on Bitmain at the moment, but it's around 1500$ if you add PSU and shipping, and it will take around 2 months to be shipped ... and you can only pay them with Bitcoin Cash ..
