Hello all,
This is my first post to the forum, but I frequently use this as a source for information in troubleshooting.
So lets get to the details.I am having 2 issues that are very similar but different. I am going to be as descriptive as I possible can,so I apologize in advance about the novel.
Issue 1
Unit will start to boot up, I can access the units main/home interface page but as soon as I click on any of the tabs, miner status/ miner configuration/ network, the unit becomes not reachable, and when I go look at it, it is completely powered off, no front or top LED lights and the front and rear fans aren't spinning, yet the fan on the power supply is still spinning
I have replaced the power supply, test voltage output on all the sockets of the previous power supply and they all read 12/12.1 volts, which is right where they are supposed to be according to the label on said power supply.
I have changed its Ethernet cable, not that that would really help, but for the sake of troubleshooting, its better sometimes to replace everything that way you can eliminate possible trouble sources.
Haven't changed the units power cord yet as it was working properly when the unit was installed.- May try that just to be on the safe side.
I also haven't cracked open the unit yet as its still under warranty and I DO NOT want to void the warranty if at all possible.
Issue 2
It is similar to the above issue but different
So this unit will boot up and start hashing, after roughly 30 minutes the unit will be displaying zero in the RT hash rate, after a soft reboot unit is back up and hashing, it'll be this 3 or 4 times and then on about the 4th reboot it becomes not reachable, and same thing as above, unit is completely powered off expect for the fan on the power supply
According to the temp on the miner status, when unit is hashing of course, it doesn't appear to running hot.
Fans spinning at good speed somewhere between 1800 and 2200 RPM's.
Same troubleshooting steps taken as above.
Here is a snip it of one of the units main interface page

If it makes any difference, these 2 units have been low hashing units since purchase, I have installed the latest Nov 29th firmware from Antminer and have had luck with that firmware fixing some other units that were also low hashing.
I haven't contacted Antminer yet as I hear they can be very slow or uneasy to work with in regards to tickets/warranty/exchange type situations
Do you guys think that it may be the controller board or IO board, that is causing the issue?
I have searched and searched and searched forums and google for similar issues to this and have yet to have luck.
So any help that you can give would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated
