100W saving... since you are using the 93% efficiency PSU, not much saving you can reach. Fan running lower RPM since the average PCB temperature is lower, so that is a plus.
Its been 2 weeks now since I have been monitoring 24/7 my S9 antminer 12.5TH/S working and noted down the figures.
I use the bitmain`s latest APW3+-12-1600W PSU
They are both brand new. No bad chip issues.
I have placed my miner in a server rack cabinet 2 meters tall.
I have open the rack`s side(left-right) doors and it is in a controlled temperature small room around 4sq meters.
The room temperature varies from 19 Celsius to 21 with the help of an inverter wall air condition.
The humidity varies from 34% to 40%.
There are no windows in order to let fresh air in. only a closed entry door.
The 3 hashboards have all day the bellow temperatures:
BOARD1 81-83
BOARD2 75-77
BOARD3 73-75
The fans rpm are:
FRONT fan from 2160min to 2520max(note that the front fan sucks really cold air from the air condition as they are 1-1,5 meter face to each other)
BACK fan from 2880min to 3120max(it exposes relatively medium warm air. I have monitored really warmer air figures with the back fan at 4320 rpm when I used different positioning/setups of the equipment)
The watt consumption is steady 1313Watt / hour
and the 24hour hashrate(from the miner status page) is 12,644GH/S(avg).
I would like to ask from your experience if these figures are OK for my mine`s long life or if I am doing something REALLY wrong.
Bare in mind that I don`t want to "overclock-underclock" or change settings of the miner. I want to let work in AUTO with its own settings(I think my miner has by default auto settings for FANS, Frequencies etc as i saw in it`s menu).
Is there a way to decrease the watt consumption lets say 100watts/hour and still have the same average hashrate???
Sorry for the long post and for my English as they are not my native language but I will really need some feedback on this.
Thank you in advance miners
