In terms of a better product i think Tenx has way more pluses (but so did betamax, the best doesn't always win)
if interested in-depth details seen really nice video comparison here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbObaQ60GPcSocials are alot better, Ive never seen an ico engage the public aswell as tenx do, youtube vids nearly every day twitter etc.
and comit tech could also be integrated with visa/mastercard. TenX works with "WaveCrest" a 3rd party card issuer (WaveCrest is a partner of both Visa and MasterCard). "WaveCrest" issue the card on behalf of TenX. So they are not the issuer but are supported by both.
monaco however seems to have contacts with big players, not sure tenx does but vitalik eutherum founder backing and paypal backing it...pretty huge
TenX using Wavecrest is a bad thing. Wavecrest is stopping all cards outside of European territories October 15. So they are behind on that. Also TenX has some of the worst PR. You get banned in their Slack for asking questions about wavecrest before they publicly announced, questions about their rewards, etc. If you ask TenX any actual questions and ask for a real answer not a skip around you will get banned/blocked from their facebook, twitter, slack, etc. Also TenX doesnt even know the word marketing. As the CEO has stated, he does not care about he price of Pay (TenX) at all as they have already received their funding from it. They will not do any marketing as the price means nothing to them, which means the price will never truly increase much. Also Vitalik is not really backing them, he helped them but never was a backer, they just counted that little help as backing.
Monaco has the chance at being the better card. If they can finish their Visa problem, then they will be far ahead. They have a much better PR team, much better marketing, much better everything. The only thing they are not better on, is they do not have a working product yet.
Intresting, however being first to market is huge, so I don't think wavecrest is a bad play even if they go through with what you said since adoption is huge, bitcoin is a shitcoin, but it was first so it been adopted heavily. I'm 100% certain if wavecrest goes away (and they dont make any deal, still seems unlikley) tenx will have a backup to keep adoption rate. As for bad PR I find hard to believe, recently youtuber broke down the tenx reward scheme and was helped and encouraged to post video even after it was finished tenx pr posted in comments verifying and correcting aspects, really please show me bad pr here is the good pr i mentioned.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71XOXQH_l20as for marketing what do you call daily socials across all platforms talking about your product? Marketing.
Youtube
Ten x channel 8721 subs 114 videos
Monaco channel 2260 subs 26 vids
Twitter
TenX 34.1k followers, 1130 Tweets
Monaco 18.9k followers, 189 tweets
whos marketing better/updating public better?
and please verify the claim that vitalik isn't backing them whats your source?
however in me trying to look as tenx rival as fair the big threat to it is a visa partnership, but there seems to be speculation and rumour its not happening but it may verywell happen there is alot of risk for monaco supporters right now they really need this to even compete with tenx otherwise its gunna plummet and people will loose confidence in company, it really could kill them
I have reviewed the video and that does not state where the .5% comes from. The interchange fee, which is their profit from transactions, is limited to .3% in European countries. Which means they will only receive .3% from all transactions in European countries, which is lower than their .5% reward. The United States is the only country with a reward above 1%, which they will not have the United States until the end of Q4 2017, beginning Q1 2018, which would require a new credit card company as Wavecrest will not offer any other country outside of Europe past October 15. TenX will not receive anything else besides a portion of the Interchange fee from transactions (a small portion of the interchange fee is actually received by Wavecrest too, so the whole .3% doesnt go to TenX). If you ask TenX support, you will receive nothing but a run around, and statements from their PR team that they also receive the percentage that Visa receives, the percentage that goes to the accepting bank, etc. Their PR team will state they receive the entire amount from each transaction when thats incorrect. The aquiring bank (where you spend your money) receives a portion, Visa receives a portion, and the issueing bank (interchange fee TenX + Wavecrest) receives a portion. Try and ask them about this in their Slack you will get banned right away if you ask for a serious answer.
The best answer they give is that the .5% is just an estimate and used to make it easy to understand, and that the true number will not be decided until the first disbursement is done. You could receive anything, the .5% is not an actual number, read the bottom of the picture where they state the .5%.
Review the tweets from TenX, they are mostly videos which not many will watch, and bad news. TenX hasnt even publicly announced their webapp, or even the iOS app. That means there is no PR or Marketing.
Monaco, without a product does more announcements and good news than TenX has ever done. Once Monaco releases a working product you can expect a large increase in their value and them surpassing TenX marketcap. Monaco, has had greater increases in value, already is going to offer the United States off the back, etc.
Monaco does not need a Visa partnership to pass TenX, they have a contract with Wirecard awaiting card design approval from Visa. Wirecard will not be affected on October 15, as Wavecrest will.
If you truly believe a post on Twitter about TenX members being hacked, delays, etc. marketing then you do not know what marketing is. The hacking should have stayed in the Slack where the phishing was occuring, not being posted across Social media seeming like they have low quality protection and support.
