MPK is master public key of your HD wallet. You can share it with others but that will decrease your privacy because people having your MPK can see all your transactions linked to that wallet.
Sharing your MPK with that wallet is fine too but if you value your privacy, then its probably not a good idea as we don't know whether the developer is monitoring our transactions or not.
Don't ever share your seed with anyone else!

I am a semi newbie to BTC. I found this app on Google Play (formerly known as Android Market R.I.P) called Electrum MPK Bitcoin Watcher. Any of you famliliar with it? Is it safe to use?
