I'm thinking the same thing. How can this even be a thread? Just call it salvation and post three scriptures? Do you understand what a forum is all about? Forums are all about discussion. You could as least ask some questions or state an opinion. I don't think posting scripture randomly on forums is going to get you any closer to God. I'm even more surprised that so many people just started jumping right in, as if this was normal behavior.

The process of being restored or made new for the purpose of becoming saved; the process of being rid of the old poor quality conditions and becoming improved.its also a very important step in Christianity because whenever a person experience salvation he or she is free from sin as far as he or she won't back slide

Lol! That's a good one. But I'm afraid that you'll have to wait a long time for that "salvation". It'll never come. But you know what? You still have hope. Yeah, I know it's funny.

So for me, people would just realize these things when they are really old and have nothing to cling on.

Salvation is all we need. Salvation is described in many ways in scripture:salvation is a release from the bondage of sin(John 8:31-32; Galatians 1:3-4). Salvation is a redemption of soul leading to eternal life(Ephesians 1:7). Salvation is a reconciliation with God(Colossians 1:19-22) and salvation is a resurrection of the soul after dead in our sin)Ephesians 2:1-7).

Is once saved forever saved?
The bible makes us understand in John 3 v 16, that for God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him would not persish but have eternal life.

The bible also makes us understand  in John 10 v 28, that Jesus gives us eternal life and we shall never perish and no man can be able to pluck us out of His hands, because the fater that gave us to himm is greater than everyone.

Yeah definitely. The Lord Jesus Christ came to this world to save us all. We need to accept Him as our personal Lord and savior.

There's no other way, believe and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. He was crucified, buried and rose again for our sins according to the scriptures, Jesus already saved us. Just accept and believe.

Life is uncertain but death is certain. Life is temporary here on earth because life eternal is with the God Almighty. We cannot save ourselves through our good works because salvation is through Jesus Christ. He died on the cross to redeem the world from sin and we only have to believe Him and receive Him into our lives. We are redeemed by His precious blood.

All you did here was quote a sentence from the bible dude. Its too easy for salvation to come to you simply by belieiving. Its your actions that will determine whether you're going to be saved and not by what you think you believe

Salvation is redemption(being rescued) by God from the effects of sin. We know that everyone who sins must pay the ultimate penalty that is death both physical and spiritual.

Romans 8:2 Because through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

I'm a christian since I born but my beliefs were changed. I don't believe in any of these because the salvation was already on us. Just find it within yourself. No one will save you but only you,  yourself.

Jesus cares for us that He gave His life just to save us. We don't deserve the love and favor that He gives us everyday but because He cares for us, He is giving everything just to secure our lives. Jesus is our firm foundation, our strenght when we are weak and He is our redeemer and deliverer. Jesus cares for you!

Someone once said that everybody for himself God for us all. And even the Bible admonishes us to bear our own cross just as Jesus bear his cross. In salvation we also have a job to do and that isn't merely accepting Jesus and then go around living the lives we used to live previously.

We are making our own salvation,we must worship to god and obedience to his commandments and be nice to other,we will be saved by the lord in any danger.Our safety is own our god,our savior but we all need is to worship him and obey all his wills.When we walk in his command as we get to life eternal.

is the certainty of salvation that we have obtained by the work of Christ that He has completed for us means that we can do anything and not have to worry about our deeds? does the assurance of salvation allow us to do whatever we want in our lives? No, absolutely not, when we understand the Word of God thoroughly.

every believer or every child of God is a good servant of time, talents (including spiritual gifts), God's truth, and the treasures that God has entrusted to us. a servant or servant is a person who is entrusted with managing the property or possessions of others. What does it mean? The Apostle Paul taught that "what is required of every servant is to be found faithful.God will hold us accountable for what He has entrusted to us. I want to believe in salvation. Because it's hard to realize that after death there can be nothing. Therefore, and invented all sorts of ideas, what will happen later, so that people are not so afraid to die.

I do not understand the context of salvation in christianity. Why does Jesus want to save people and from who does he want to save humanitiy. I respect you beliefs but I do not believe holy stuff like god, jesus, allah etc. According to me, only people can save themselves from evil stuff. Salvation is in our inner core.

In terms of religion,Salvation is by saving of soul from our wrong doings or our sins.And  I believed that i can found salvation through God alone by asking forgiveness from all the things that you've done because Jesus said those who did good will be rewarded with eternal life with Him in heaven and those who have sinned and were disobedient to Jesus will be cast into the lake of fire,where thy will tormented for eternity.

I respect all the beliefs here on how to gain salvation though for me, in the end its not about how you follow a certain book to the letter, or how firm your belief in god is. Its how you treat others. There are several interpretations of the bible and sometimes, it confuses. Hence we have all different religion that stem from christianity.

I believe Salvation is found in no one else for there is no other "name" given under heaven to mankind by which we must be saved. for there is only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, He is the Way, the truth and the Life no one can come to the father except by him. Man need to acknowledge these and that he is in need of Savior and Lord in order to be save from sin and eternal punishment.

i am saved because of the Grace of God that he felt for me. He never wants me to go to hell and experience eternal death but he wants me to be in His Kingdom.

As we all know God offers his life for our salvation. Salvation means is "to be saved", and that's why God offer his life to save us to our sins. Yes! I'm certain that God loves us because very rarely anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. Salvation is what God have prepare as a way of escape, of escaping from impending doom that was looming as a result of man's fall in the garden of Eden. If relying on something imaginary, then we're not truly saved. It's not I'm debunking your beliefs but reconsider this: IF GODS and GODDESSES don't exist, who will save you from hell? My best answer is yourself. If we're truly free from it, why do we need to serve a historical figure? You cannot escape your own fate by faith, you can escape it with your own. Stop relying in God, do good not for god's sake, for this world's sake. You will never know the truth until you die and truth is subjective. If I'm wrong about my beliefs, atleast I'll burn and rot in hell with a smile on my face.

Salvation is a way of escape created by God by which all sinners will be saved. Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, man lost His God given Glory and man immediately become separated from God. Just accept and believe to Jesus that He is the Saviour..INDEED. I do not want to get into the politics of spirituality. However, I strive to respect each person's belief. And faith and belief are an unbelievably important tool in all areas of life. Any system of thinking tries to make use of this.

Christ's salvation is the only way to have our sins forgiven or removed.For me salvation should be important to every human being.the bible declares that we are all sinners by nature and the penalty for unforgiven sin is an eternal separation from God after death in a place called the lake of fire.without salvation we shall perish in hell for eternity, that alone should be a good enough reason to desire salvation.

I do not understand the salvation part. Regardon religion it is good to have one and belibe in it,  nuy regardong salvation.... i consoder that the fearest and hardest to fight eey is yourself. I support you and also i’m proud to share the word of God and that the society needs to accept the Lord as their savior. Because everyone needs salvation and the Lord is the only one that can give us that.

1. We are the creation of God he loves us.
2. If you are doing good, god is always in your favor, you needn't do anything.
3. If you did sins, god will be angry with you but you'll always get another chance to redeem your sins.

As long as it is belongs in the Bible, I had no comment on this things. Due to it is the gospel of the Lord, Especially in John 3:16 we can find out how God loved his creation especially the mankind.

Are there any other way to claim my own salvation? Any methods or rituals that can save me from the sins I have. I know that my sins will bring me death and seperate me from heaven, can I recieve salvation by doing good deeds ang sacrifices to claim back my salvation, It is written in the book of the israels the things God has told us to do. Can I relay to that?
