There are no problems with Samurai's wallet so use it.
I never use Samurai's wallet but I have heard that this samurai wallet can transact offline transaction through SMS getting a code on your mobile number, isn't it?
But this thing for me for sure Samurai's wallet has been forcing remove to google play store.

Why did you want to say with the Google play store? Samourai has been removed from it?
I bet this is what she's referring to https://news.bitcoin.com/google-play-store-samourai-wallet-security-features/

Google play try to remove samourai wallet if the dev will not remove the security features of samorai wallet which is intriguing.

According to the article, these features are being disabled with the version 0.99.04, Stealth Mode, SIM Switch Defense, and Remote SMS Commands.

Though the report was on january.

This is correct. Samourai wallet uses TxTenna to broadcast transactions to the bitcoin network. You can even wipe or recover your wallet by SMS with the remote SMS command.

Samurai wallet has the advantage of anonymity by TOR----> Samourai Wallet Adds Tor Integration in Privacy Push.
I personally use the greenaddress wallet, it has the advantage of synchronizing with the wallet that is in my computer in addition to supporting the iPhone so it is the best.

Not a whole lot of people browse this section of the forums and this thread has about 60 views, not unusual to see a low amount of posts here.

Anyways, I have used the Samourai wallet and I personally think it's a pretty good wallet as the UI's nice and there's support for Segwit wallets as you've already mentioned. As for the security of the wallet, that really depends on how well you are securing your Android phone. Try not to download random apps and try not to open random links as well and you should be fine for the most part, though you should not store more than you can afford to lose on any mobile wallet. If you're going for longer-term storage, paper wallets, hardware wallets and an airgapped computer should all provide you with better storage than any Android wallet should provide you.

My thread is on the top of the board. It's a little bit strange that the number of comments is so small. Honestly I expected much more experience from people with Samurai wallet.
Its never been strange because threads that being recently replied would go to top board and if you do see that this still on the top then that means Web wallet sections arent that visited much so thats why.

About samurai wallet,i tried it once and it did its job without any problems.

Samourai wallet is fine and I never experienced any issue yet but I am not holding coins there I just receive and transfer it to other wallets once I received it.
If you want to store your wallet for a long time I recommend Electrum multi-sig with 2fa which is safe based on my experienced I'm holding a small amount of bitcoin just to store it for a long time.

Or you can try paper wallet it's good and I only transfer bitcoin from offline to other wallets through offline transaction using coinb.in it's safe just make sure to make a transaction offline.

I never use Samurai wallet before although I know Samurai is one of the new wallets for bitcoin. I think the wallet is safe and you can use it to store your bitcoin in there. But what I see here is Samurai could only use with the android phone, and maybe they will release a version for the desktop too.

Hello!
How many of you guys use Samurai wallet and what you may say about it? I opened an account recently just because of its segwit address. Is it safe place to hold coins at all?

Just happened to check the wallet out for the first time. They look quite professional with everything. I wouldn't mind storing money on the wallet if I was not against using wallets on a mobile phone. I wish they had a web version to replace Blockchain.com.

I used samurai before and I didn't encounter any issues, and I guess samurai has all the great features of a bitcoin wallet though its only for android users.

It’s still an Alpha software, but I’ve used it for the last few months while I had an Android phone and I would keep using it. It worked fine and there are many features that focus on the privacy of the user.

Here is the list of features: https://samouraiwallet.com/features/comparison
