don't just rely on the admins and other users who are tagging fake projects as a bounty hunter you should be the first to check if the project is legitimate and look for clues that will prove the project is fake or scam if you don't do that or don't do research your hard work wouldn't result to anything and will just be a waste of time and effort.
They are the DT members who tag them, administration of the forum does not moderate scams and fake projects. The OP needs to get his facts straight although it can be possible for a new user to confuse the two, as happened to me too several years back.

But honestly speaking the effect is even bigger when the bounty hunters themselves take part in shaming those who are promoting scams. It wont help if there are some robotic idiots who still think that some shitcoin is going to be the next bitcoin without realizing it to be a scam.

In that sense it is also true that scammers never stop scamming because for them it is an easy way to make money, they have no remorse and so they come back with newer methods but the basis remains same - induce greed into those who are willing to make money and use that to take their money. Tongue
Scams and frauds will always exist as long this market do involves money and handling it out or getting rid of it completely is not really that possible.This is a forum platform which means people can come and go as they like
and even if theyre tagged nor banned then they can still easily create one and the cycle continues.

Due to greed and having that easy money mindset of human being will always be the reason on why these scammers do exist.They do keep on feeding up these fools and as said when a certain method or modus had been busted then they would always come back with a new one that even veterans or experienced ones can still be possibly be victimized.

Its always been suggested to make your own research and do make use of your own common sense to detect potential frauds or scams because even this forum cant moderate all of these things on an instant.

I will like to thank the admins in this platform for their tremendous efforts in raiding dubious and greedy bounties been conducted on this platform. the fight to ban accounts and tag scandalous admins really worked out. it is a win win for those that work hard to hunt new campaigners with fake projects, plagiarist whitepapers and website copy cats. Although the fight is not over. we say thank you for the Job well done and ask for that you guys continue with your job.
It's not admins tagging the scammer but rather DT members. Banning accounts by Global Moderators is mostly done to members who plagiarize content and post it in the forum without citing source and spammers but not scammers You could also join the fight but;
1. Avoid joining and promoting projects randomly without doing any deeper research
2. Help identify and report scam projects. It's a community thing. You don't have to have special powers or knowledge to fight scam.

Though bounties are not regulated, there are dedicated individuals busting these scam teams that somehow making the campaigns less risky. But there are still users joining the campaigns which teams had been tagged as scam.

But the harder it is to find the scam projects these days because of the defi. Uniswap for instance is being used to entice investors that the token has real value, harder to fight it even if the team is tagged because the token itself will just make bounty hutners join to promote.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
Only for your information, the tagging of certain accounts is not done by the admin but by the DT members based on someone's research and considering the level of potential risk that will occur. Tagging is sometimes subjective in nature so being a tagged doesn't mean they will be banned even if they have cheated unless they violate the forum.
