lucky you. I got a prob with this card, I only get max 620kh from E 933 M 1600. I dont understand why I can set another 6970 to I 18, but this one only allows I 13. I have no idea why CPU has anything to do with GPU speed. I got CPU from the store. so what do I do?

Finally after long days brought my 7970 to 780khs!

I got Sapphire 7970 (11197-06 Dual-X) cause I saw on wiki it reaches above 700khs so thought it won't be such trouble..

Plugged it turn on cgminer all stock and default and it goes like 400khs i thought wtf
Started searching, tested all settings, and with OC of 1825/1170 got it to about 600khs.
Still OC was too much and khs too little so I started flashing, tested about 6-7 different bioses, with some windows could not install drivers (I'm on 8.1), ones which did work gave me same result of 600khs with high OC.

Then one bios flash bricked my card as I thought, did many resets and PC won't boot, did motherboard bios reset and still won't boot, thought my card is gone, searched online again and found the dual bios switch!
Boot with the second default bios, install driver, run cgminer all stock and get above 600khs!
OC to 1800/1100 and now get 780khs stable with 0 errors

I understood what was the problem: My CPU was OC'd since I got it, when I reset motherboard bios it restored CPU to default and I think that what interfered GPU max potential.

So before flashing try to eliminate all other factors.
