Works perfectly with 8 pin, both in etash as well as in cryptonight.
This gpu is a good choice.

rx 580 nitro can run perfectly fine with only one 8 pin pcie connected
you can also overclock it without any issues
just don't forget to undervolt to get the bet hash per power

Thanks for the help!! Smiley

Now I need less cables pcie xDD

A little doubt that I have, if I do overclocking (with afterburner) and the undervolt is reset and it stays running consuming 170W, will the 8-pin pcie still be sufficient?

you could probably notice the effect either efficient or not by looking at your mining status, it could be at your hashrates, or somewhat errors if there may be, otherwise your mining rig is fine.

Hi

I have a rig with 3 sapphire nitro rx 580, I have ordered three more, so far I have always used the two pcie connectors of 8 and 6 pins.

When I expand the rig to 6 gpus I am missing 6-pin cables I have searched for information and it seems that only the 8-pin cable can be used

But I also read that if you overclock the gpus you need more power

If I overclock the gpus, in this case it is necessary to use the two cables (8 and 6 pins) or is it enough using only the 8-pin cable?

excuse my bad english.

Regards
