1) mod your bios memory settings, with hynix copy 1500 straps to higher timings, with samsung 1750 to higher
2) undervolt and overclock, core 0.9V 1150MHz memory 0.95V 1950MHz if hynix, 2150MHz if samsung, btw wattman is more complicate to use than afterburner but is more stable..
3) check if you have memory errors with hwinfo, if you have slowly progresing then you need lower mem a bit, if progresing fast you need restart and check if that happend again
4) if your driver crash then you undervolt too much

Which version do you have?  Memory manufacturer?
Sapphire Nitro RX 480 4GB versions:
11260-02-20G
11260-09-20G
11260-13-20G
...

I have Sapphire 11260-13-20g model. I can't find the bios modding information. Is this model ever moddable?Huh My current rates are 21-22 mhs. Settings are on default and I am on linux. So i'm not playing with voltage and OC'ing

Did anyone ever find a good answer to this.  I've tried these settings on my card and only ever get 22.6 to 22.9.

What type of memory?

Trying to get around learning about overclocking and this is the first time i hear about that kind of differences. I have a mix of RX470 4GB, RX480 4GB and RX480 nitro 8GB. How could i check the exact version for my cards? Also, i have only seen a thread here for RX480´s (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/update-rx480-ref-31mh-custom-rom-vddc-offset-custom-timing-1584617) but it says its for the reference version. I need to know how to check this.

I tried a few roms (Anorak and Boysie´s) but havent seen improvement... I understand that after modding i have to leave the OC parameters in the .conf file as if it were stock once i have the rom flashed, right?

Also, i found about the concept of changing the strap values somewhere. Is that already modding with a HEX editor or can i do that with linux (or only windows with polaris bios or similar?)?
