Scroll to SATA power cable section.Their not meant for anything but HDD's/CD/DVD rom's & maybe a fan or two,if you can find the adapter to 3 or 4 pin fan headers Wink

The PCIE cables can handle up to 300 watts,if they are 16 AWG,200+ at 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge).

You don't need google for that information. It's was obvious from the color, there is only 1 yellow wire there.

even that is risky.

if your PSU doesnt have enough PCIe connectors it probably isnt well-suited to bitcoin mining.

almost any molex-pcie or even eps-pcie adapter is made with 18awg or thinner wires, and not suitable for the loads required by modern bitcoin mining hardware. they are designed for running low-end GPUs on systems that didnt even have a PCIe connection.

ie: they are built for <100W but bitcoin mining typically draws >150W

You saw that the pci-e cable have at least 3 pairs of 12v and ground wires but the sata have only 1 pair, right?
