There's no such plan, it's conspiracy theories made up by filthy hippies with dreads who has been on drugs for too long.
I saw the documentary about google e-books, I know who the conspiracy theorists are.

To think that people still trust politicians, news reporters, big business, etc... at their face value is amazing to me.  In light of recent documents being exposed, it's difficult for me to understand how smart people won't look past the surface.

I guess it's easier to believe what is told to you than to look deeper.  Conspiracy theories of a decade ago are now common knowledge.

Anyway...many can read an article or information and regurgitate the info back.  Real thinking is looking between the lines.

And the conspiracy theory continues. How much meth did you do to get the idea of someone chipping everyone?
It's some paranoia-futuristic-preapocalyptic madness. Woah.

Considering Google's plans for melding man and machine, is it impossible to think that they could have plans of "chipping everyone?"  Remember, generally their goal is to make something look like we want it.  If Google is successful and they do combine man and computer, won't people that choose to not undergo this process be at a disadvantage?  It will be difficult to compete with someone that has a search engine hard-wired into their brain not to mention whatever physical disadvantages a real human might have to a part machine.

Anyway...just a thought.

So what is your suggestion? or do you mean that it's dead-end situantion and btc will be under control anyway?

The problem with defeating the establishment, at least in the west, is that anyone who gets anywhere in challenging them ends up being co-opted and becoming part of them.

The bitcoin early adopters, at least the ones who didn't lose their wallet keys, are now extremely wealthy.  The government caters to the very wealthy because they have lobbyists, and now they realize that if they can get some government regulation, a government stamp of approval they'll be able to get the masses, who actually trust the government when it comes to things like money to adopt.

i agree there is no need to chip people - just attach to physical person digital currency "access key"  ( private key ). BTC and other crypto currency are not stored in your wallet. You have only private key with which you can access "yours" crypto money in the system. So if whole crypto currency is slightly modified it will be changed to opposite of total anonymity. Not only lost of anonymity but also you will not be able to receive any money for what is not allowed to sell - so watch carefully for what it will be used .

We all should work on our lives to become a "higher" person. History is repeating - after too much freedom full of irresponsible people ( in proper democracy with higher rights should come higher responsibilities ) comes dictatorship ( always more and more sophisticated ) - and what these days who can control money can control whole world. So don't let it happen.

That is my hope and goal with new tech as well.
One of my biggest fears is that corporations will eventually win out and we will all be their wage slave drones with no rights other than what they give us.

As nuts as it seems I have that worry.
I have a spinal cord stimulator implant.
It is easily programmable if someone gets within a couple feet of me and has the software and the passkey.
I have already been able to download statistical information from it without the passkey.
So far I cannot make any changes to it without the passkey but it is crazy what an actual hacker could do.  Can you imagine the new pacemakers that are already wifi enabled get hacked?  Just nuts.
I am still for not wanting to be chipped at all.

Wow. It's a crazy world.

I love technology, I just want to always do my best to make sure it works for me as opposed to working for someone else while I think it's working for me.

Maybe this is reason why bitcoin was "made":

Bitcoin  was made to test crypto currency - future model of money.
Now, private key and also public key is not attached to physical person.

But in the future it can be inverted - public / private keys could by recorded into chip and each person will be chipped with that information. In that case, there will be no anonymity - total control.

damn then they'd have to legalize everything.  or prosecute us with small crimes like child pornography, drugs, and prostitution.  fuckin BIGOTS!

I would rather not be chipped thank you.
Some form of better security for your private key would be great but not to that extent.

A government doesn't need to chip people to identify them, they can go by facial recognition, retinal scans or fingerprints.

Best avoid getting chipped then.

Then... don't allow someone to put the chip in you? And, even if they do, what forces you to actually use that specific pub:priv? Why can't I just generate another?
