There is a statue of Satoshi somewhere in Budapest and it’s basically a mirrored statue so when you look at it you see yourself. Because you are Satoshi, we are all satoshi pretty much.

It’s a currency created by the people, Mined by the people and spent by the people. Hence why his disappearance is very important.

So that’s why you can’t say Bitcoin is the same as Ethereum where the founder is known. Hence it is faceless.

I welcome your perspective to this point of discuss. As you said Satoshi is you and I. However, having a face or an identity attached gives a unique value to any commodity, asset etc. It is a full subject of study on branding and finance worth. On the neutral the identity of Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin gave a good head start for it and possibly made people to invest in its project.

I think Satoshi unknown identity has made its mark known and has secured a lot of advantages for Bitcoin.

Satoshi is Faceless

So why is Satoshi Faceless? I leave it to conscious imagination of the did of men
Why is Satoshi faceless, or why is he not coming forward? I think this is pointless talk. Just understand about Satoshi that he was a good person who was sent by God to serve our humanity. It was just Satoshi's job to create technology like Bitcoin, and our job is to benefit from this technology.

And in any case, if Satoshi Nakamoto appeared now, what would be the benefit instead of the disadvantages, because if there was Satoshi in the present era, the first agency and investigating agency would have caught him and given him a reward for this service, because the whole world By removing companies and big institutions, Bitcoin stamped its mark on the financial standard, which can only be a bad thing for all these institutions.

These redundant banking systems and institutions didn't leave Satoshi alive because they knew their systems were not capable of competing with the Bitcoin invented by Satoshi. And if Satoshi Nakamoto lived, all this would happen to him as well as to Bitcoin, i.e., ready to accept etc. They say Bitcoin is a good thing, but the whole public hates a good thing to their own little detriment.

I think it's good that Satoshi hasn't revealed his identity yet, if not to leave the institution, the banks, and the followers of the controversial currency alive unscathed in the field of finance over his defeat.

Not having to deal with any lawsuits can be a major reason for Satoshi to hide true identity because an anonymous creator cannot face charges. In hindsight, it looks like it was a very wise decision, even if that wasn't the main consideration of Satoshi.
Other potential reasons might be untimely death, true devotion to decentralization (and thus not wanting to be at the centre of Bitcoin), high value of privacy (to avoid being followed by people from the media, being scrutinized and targeted, etc.). Whatever the reason is, I think we should respect it and should not try to find and out Satoshi.

i don’t think that’s it

satoshi most likely knew that bitcoin will have a huge impact on our world and knew that it will benefit a lot of us tremendously

Quote

So why is Satoshi Faceless?

like i said satoshi knew bitcoin’s impact and potential hence why i think satoshi decided to remain anonymous is because of privacy and security

i also believe that satoshi is just one person rather than a group
with more people knowing they created bitcoin, the higher chances that at least one of them will step out and take credit for what bitcoin is but seeing as there has been no one suggests that satoshi nakamoto is just one person who happens to be a genius and someone who really values his privacy and life

There is nothing you will invent that's value that will be free from criminal activities, it's near impossible, unless it's valueless, Bitcoin is decentralized, and for it to survive in a centralized country it depends on the people, if they choose to use and adopt it then it will survive, this is how Bitcoin made it this far.

If Bitcoin creator is known he would have been arrested for so long and even locked up or threaten too, if they want him or them to live they will have to abide by the law given to them by the centralised rulers, this is why the creator of Bitcoin is faceless, Centralized and Decentralized are both enemies that won't work along, do research on this part yourself.

Look at what is happening in the US right now, the hunger for power and control from Black rock and others have affected even Binance CEO ( CZ ), they don't want him probably because they can't control him, Binance is the biggest richest exchange, if it's a poor exchange they won't care much about it, they also want access to the exchange for vital information, like identities of the users.

Just imagine what will happen if Bitcoin maker is someone everyone knows, he is a very smart person that's why he prefer not to reveal himself or themselves, this is the only way decentralization can survive in a centralized world.

Another perspective, consistence attack on the personality of Satoshi would create divided attention and reduce Bitcoin as considerable option. As it is Written;
Strike the Shepherd and the sheep of the flock will scatter (Mathew 26:31)

So why is Satoshi Faceless? I leave it to conscious imagination of the did of men

The faceless personality of Satoshi has made it very hard for bitcoin not to be centralized. Only when you see the person behind an invention you can persuade, threaten or force the person to do something that will favour you as the government. If Satoshi will come out today and the widespread adoption of bitcoin will reduce to it minimal or affect the use of it in such a way that it will be centralized and controlled by only one entity, organization or company; it will be better he remains anonymous for the rest of his life. Satoshi faceless identity is the best thing that has happen to bitcoin.

If Satoshi really was a person and not a community, I think he was the kind of person with a vision of seeing the future. Since Bitcoin was first released, we have never once discovered the identity of Satoshi. When Bitcoin became popular in 2014-2017, in the following years we can clearly see that Satoshi never once showed his face. This is like luck for us because if Satoshi was a famous person, then I think there would be a lot of bad things that would happen. Examples include lawsuits from many parties who have interests that conflict with the principles of decentralization.

Satoshi wanted to avoid having problems with all government agencies, so he chose to disappear. Satoshi gave everything to the public about Bitcoin, and Bitcoin has become very popular. Maybe Satoshi knew that if he didn't disappear, he would be chased by government agencies for explanations.

Satoshi did not cause the birth of big companies in the crypto world. It's all because of the greed of the leaders of these big companies to take their profits. Satoshi only introduced a system that was not dependent on the government and stood alone.

Every large crypto company can follow the regulations set by the Regulatory Body. Even though the Regulatory Agency always tries to find fault with the company, as long as the company can show evidence that they have not violated its regulations, the company can still operate.

If Bitcoin is criticized for being used for fraudulent and criminal activities, what is the difference with fiat? In fact, fiat has been used for many illegal transactions in the world, and various currencies from many countries are used. These people only see Bitcoin from the negative side. They don't see the positives that Bitcoin can bring to everyone.

If we were to compare satoshi and Bitcoin to Litecoin and Ethereum and their founders Buterin and Charlie Lee, we would see a difference. Satoshi's addresses hold millions (if not billions) in value when converted to USD. On the other hand, Lee and Buterin sold their holdings back in 2018 during the bull run. I think Charlie Lee even officially stepped away from the project. That shows you that the Bitcoin spinoffs were quick money grabs meant to enrichen the creators and those close to them.

Satoshi is Faceless

As known Bitcoin is the world first cryptocurrency and was invented in 2008 by an Unkown person or group called Satoshi Nakamoto. This invention defiled many theoretical models and the traditional system now labels it as investment not to be use for transaction with merchants. More than $16 billion BTC has been traded since inception and it is estimated that over 144 million people owns Bitcoin globally.

It is of interest to know why the founder kept his identity unknown and remain faceless in a face of a culture changing invention.
Is He/She or are They afraid or Ashamed?

e-Cash was the first cryptocurrency in 1990 developed by the GigiCash company. In 1983, David Chaum proposed electronic money and the American cryptographer published a paper entitled Blind Signature for Untraceable Payments.[1]
Bitcoin, which appeared in 2009, has become a well-known and successful decentralized currency. Bitcoin's success made Altcoins come after it historically as far as I know.[2]

Faceless means someone without a face. Another meaning of faceless is anonymous. Satoshi, the creator of Bitcoin, is a human, not a robot.
That means yes, Satoshi is faceless.
Satoshi's worldwide creation Bitcoin is not a cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is decentralized.
Satoshi chose anonymity not because he was embarrassed.

Comparing Satoshi Nakamoto to CZ, Sam Bankman-Fried or the CEO of Ripple(I forgot his name) seems kinda wrong to me.
Satoshi created the technology and the platform. CZ, SBF and other big crypto CEOs are simply running businesses(and scams) on top of that technology and that platform.
Perhaps Satoshi could be compared to Andreas Antonopoulos, Gavin Andresen or Vitalik Buterin(even though some of those people were early Bitcoin developers).
I don't even know if Satoshi is one person or several people. I'm sure that keeping his(their) identity a secret was a smart move.

Satoshi Nakamoto came up with the idea for Bitcoin, which was a huge innovation that has really shaken things up in finance.  The people like CZ, SBF, and Brad Garlinghouse are CEOs of big crypto companies and exchanges that are trying to capitalize on the technology Satoshi created.  Even though they've all made big impacts on crypto they play pretty different roles and  Satoshi was the genius inventor who thought up the core ideas of blockchain and Bitcoin in the first place.  The CEOs are more like business-minded entrepreneurs attempting to build empires by utilizing Satoshi's invention.

Is He/She or are They afraid or Ashamed?

In recent times, Ripple CEO has spent over $150 million on law suit of violation to sales of XRP, Fine of $4.3 Billion has been labeled on binance and violation charges for CZ to pay $50 million and step down, FTX founder Sam faces 100 years imprisonment, Bittrex to pay $24 million to US regulatories etc. Who knows the next swing? But I am sure many more to come.

Allow me to argue here, it is humanly impossible to meet all regulations set by the Regulatory Agency and still remain in business. The Law in itself was written to fine and find a firm or establishment guilty and it also depends on whosoever that interprets or administer this law that you may be found or not be found guilty. Those who knows the Law uses it for their advantage no emotion attached.

Although Bitcoin in itself is unique, it was BTC founder Satoshi Nakamoto that led to the birthing of these great companies in the crypto space. If BTC is the lead of crypto I can clearly establish that following the happenstance Satoshi would have had a lot of cases to handle with SEC, FRB, FDIC etc. Several investigative file from FBI, CIA, IRS, INTERPOL etc. would have been opened. Also note, that Bitcion is criticize as used for Fraudulent and Criminal activities.

Another perspective, consistence attack on the personality of Satoshi would create divided attention and reduce Bitcoin as considerable option. As it is Written;

Bitcoin's founder likely wanted to keep the community focused on the technology itself and the idea of decentralization, while avoiding personal attention. Satoshi Nakamoto left behind a mystery that contributes to the mythology around Bitcoin and maintains interest in it. In the cryptosphere, anonymity is often perceived as an element of freedom and a principled approach to protecting personal data. Despite possible regulatory challenges, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies continue to attract attention and develop in the context of the modern financial ecosystem.

This question will always give rise to a perspective answer because no one can explain the truth. Let's look for a moment at how bitcoin developed, which was initially feared by several countries because it was thought to be able to destroy the economic system centered on financial institutions. Those who can control a centralized economic system do not want to be replaced so it is worth trying to punish people who start to disrupt this system. But because Satoshi Nakamoto understands the consequences when creating great works, hiding his identity will be much safer in all aspects of his life.

Satoshi Nakamoto's intelligence basically had a reason and he deliberately hid his identity so as not to be traced to anyone who intended to destroy bitcoin. Today we can see that bitcoin is growing quite rapidly throughout the world and if he didn't hide his identity maybe today we would no longer hear about bitcoin in the media, forums or other public places.

satoshi is just our imagination. Every person has its own image of satoshi. Just like Jesus. Russians, Americans, Mexicans etc they all believe in Jesus but all of them have a different image. Some people even think Jesus was a black dude. This is how they portray him because it makes them feel good.

"You go into their churches and you don't see a White Jesus – you see a Black Jesus, or Chinese Jesus, or a Middle Eastern Jesus – which is of course the most accurate. You see a Fijian Jesus – you see Jesus portrayed in as many ways as there are cultures, languages and understandings."

satoshi is just like Jesus. BTC people have their own Jesus, BSV people have theirs, Bcash people have theirs...

"in satoshi we trust"

Amen.

You do mak a very solid argument for why Satoshi chose to remain anonymous. Their presence in today's space would have been an unwanted distraction cause the authorities will dig up ever detail about them in search of something to sue for or to make them look less heroic to the public, could be a social media post from when they were teenagers or an academic record.

Bitcoin is a near perfect creation and Satoshi most probably did not want to be juxtaposed next to it, with people expecting perfection from him and associating any flaw they find to Bitcoin.

Whatever the reason, it was a good decision.

We have so many speculations about this, and the answer is that we don't know.

Regulatory body is just doing their job, so if they think that someone violate their rules, then they will go after them, simply as that. And if they think that exchanges are guilty then so be it. But it won't change a thing, Bitcoin will continue to flourish, with or without Satoshi surfacing.

Again, you overthink too much, Satoshi chooses to remain anonymous, so let's say we leave it like that.

And hopefully, you are enjoying his creation and not that you are here to make speculations and what not. This is not the first time that we have seen someone questioning Satoshi on why he disappear.

Just to address you very last sentence.. Has it occurred to you that being faceless is a major pivot towards the success of what we call the blockchain technology today?

Loads of systems have faces which ties an identity to them and makes them answerable to the solutions they offer, irrespective of their good will, these solutions are mostly challenged by forces already existing and in most cases, agencies that control or regulate the space their innovations are targeted at.

In such cases, to alow your inovations work on auto pilot, it is necessary to leave those solutions in the hands of someone or something that will not consider any interferences and cannot  be stopped. This is what birthed the coding solution to finance and other blockchain technology applied solutions.

You will agree with me that SEC and other forces will not spare Satoshi if he was come disclose his identity anytime soon, and this will greatly affect both the tech and Bitcoin negatively.

Other than having to reminisce on the why or what,
I’ll rather ask that you focus your attention on the many benefits that have result from this unprovoked absence but, just a humble individual or group or persons not being attention seeking and avoiding the spot light as this would have projected them to fame.

Bitcoin was created to be revolutionary and what better way to revolutionize finance and the means by which people handle money by not living power to the people. The people are truly faceless, just like the government and that’s why they serve for some powerful body on the face of the earth.

The facelessness of the creator is a page out of the government’s play book and with it, Bitcoin serves the one and truly decentralized coin out there, accruing to itself benefits of unsolicited promotions while rendering its service to humanity in the idea of financial freedom.

Here we go again (inserts facepalm emoji). Do you also think it’s really Bitcoin’s fault? I’m asking because there seems to be no atom of defense added to your statement. I’ve read too many crap about how Bitcoin is used for this or that illegal activities but we keep forgetting that a sword could used to kill just as much as it can be used to chop something down. Doesn’t it depend on who is using it? They are just looking for something to say about Bitcoin, guess these people need to do better.

Safety for himself and his family is one of the biggest pointers that come to mind when we're talking about Satoshi's anonymity. Since you're the first person to counteract the monetary system that everyone's been falling under in the past millennia, you're bound to have a few enemies in the upper echelons of the society, some with the power to off you and your family as if you never existed in the first place. Satoshi's probably paranoid about this and so he made sure to cover up his tracks after the creation of bitcoin.

Or it could be that he just doesn't want the limelight. It's so hectic and problematic to be famous sometimes, and he prolly foresaw this while creating bitcoin. To spare himself the trouble, he just made sure to never reveal who he is.

You’re comparing bitcoin to crypto exchanges and centralized cryptocurrencies, that’s where you’re getting it wrong. Bitcoin is decentralized and has fixed supply of 21 million bitcoins. More bitcoins cannot be created neither can the system be manipulated. So even if Satoshi was present, he can not embezzle like FTX or Ripple did because the bitcoin code is open source and can be reviewed by everyone.

I don't know if you were trying to define bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a whole. In whatever case, note that not all cryptocurrency is decentralized. Infact, the only true decentralized cryptocurrency is bitcoin, so it is wrong to generalize decentralisation to the whole cryptocurrency.

It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that cryptocurrency has come to stay and BTC leads the crypto market.
Oh no, many people don't agree with this. Many people who are not blind and deaf and including the government are yet to see anything good in bitcoin which is why they keep fighting bitcoin.

Avoiding law suits, the government and paying fines is not the reason Satoshi remained anonymous. He did so to avoid an iota of centralisation especially in reaching consensus in the network. Besides, the nature of bitcoin doesn't need a CEO. If Satoshi wasn't anonymous, bitcoin would have had like 10 forkings.
