https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
If you create one anonymous identity, what's to stop you making another?

Nakamoto may well still be here.. Maybe he disappeared in such a hurry because he had another account he was using and had made a new identity for himself.

Maybe he also decided (as a lot of people do here) enough is enough... I'm going to leave my project now it's been adopted by a group so they can change it to what they want...

I think the fact that the government authorities and the media , the big business man and other people are not on the good side of the Bitcoin.  They could have Targeted him and at the same time could have harmed him.
It could have caused problems for him , even maybe it could have put his family into a problem.
This is why I think he choose to stay away from the name , fame and everything.
The fact that he thought 10 steps ahead of him is very natural because he only created Bitcoin.

Much of all this seems like a properly executed plan. Maybe CIA/NSA are the creators of Blockchain? This has been discussed time and again and it doesn't really matter where did Satoshi come from and why did he disappear. All those theories are based on logical, psychological assumptions which could be completely false. Don't waste your time in figuring out things which will never make sense to you.

As far as I know, Satoshi himself emailed something to say that he would be moving onto something else.. it was not a third party that send the email. It was strange that Satoshi did not post anything himself  and that Mike Hearn was the "tool" for the last message... seeing that Mike Hearn had worked for one of the companies that has close ties with the CIA.  Roll Eyes

It is also peculiar that Gavin spoke to the CIA and that Gavin and Mike Hearn ended up together ...trying to take over Bitcoin with BitcoinXT and both failed miserably.  Roll Eyes

until today, we only enjoy every conspiracy, theory and idea that spreads in the community.  Popular theories explain that Satoshi's purpose for hiding his identity for saving of identity and Bitcoin.
if Satoshi's identity is known by the public, then he will always be supervised by the media, crypto community, rule makers and other parties who have other interests.  I still believe in this theory.

This is another additional information about Mr. Nakamoto. But as the  title of the article implies, it's a "theory" which means "an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true."
To be honest, I'm getting tired on this drama. I mean there's already a pile of conspiracies about Satoshi and here comes another one. Well, it's understandable if most of us are really eager to solve Satoshi's mystery because it is a part of history but sometimes I realized that we're now taking it too far. Instead of getting answers we are ending up into a new question or theory which makes us feel doubted and more confused; hence I choose to stop and just enjoy the benefits of his invention. Wherever he is, I'm pretty sure that he is happy as well even without getting proper recognition since he can see that bitcoin remain alive and continue to grow Smiley.

@OP ~ C'mon! I know you include the reference but it doesn't mean you can now copy + paste some parts of the original and make it as your post. I hope you will make your next posts more genuine.

But as the  title of the article implies, it's a "theory" which means "an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true." Mr. Nakamoto, though he was the creator, also has his reasons for leaving. And based on the article, he mentioned that it (btc) is in good hands. And we, as the present users of his creation must prove him that he was right. Let's preserve bitcoin and put it into good use. Because, it surely helped many people since it began.

All of this are just assumption, and no one would know why he left or who he was?

The important thing is his vision which would not die until Bitcoin survives and that's what we should protect anyways. Cheesy

Bitcoin‘s pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto has been noticeably absent for most of its existence. There’s been many attempts to reveal their true identity, but the reason for their sudden disappearance in 2011 is just as curious.

Bitcoin‘s pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto has been noticeably absent for most of its existence. There’s been many attempts to reveal their true identity, but the reason for their sudden disappearance in 2011 is just as curious.

While Nakamoto was still active in Bitcoin development, they mostly kept contact with the outside world with forum posts, emails, and IRC channels. Archives of Nakamoto’s communications can be found here

The thing is, whoever maintained the Nakamoto moniker never directly signalled they were going to leave. It took a third party to confirm that Nakamoto had indeed ceased Bitcoin development to mysteriously work on other projects.
