I was looking for something else and found this "old" topid.

and it just confirmed how far behind have the mainstream is...

What is recent news for them is already necroposting here!

I am curious to know if there are statistics starting to show the impact of female driving. That would be most awesome news. Empirical data is what it only pretend to be, but events happens with more and more new drivers...

The entire Saudi Car fleet has started to double, at least...

take the camel, load the falcon on it, and head beyond the roads, were no cars can go...

there is no way back.

How can they drive safely with a veil covering their eyes though? Seriously, isn't it a safety hazard if the person behind the wheel cannot fully see the road? What are they going to implement to fix this, if they pass this law in the first place

Muslim countries are not adapted to the lives of the people of civilized countries. I do not understand those tourists who travel to these countries. But if Muslims think it acceptable to live like this then why not?

This is a bad idea to drive a car with this obbligated by law dress.
Other thing, they must be not alone out of home.

This will be a disaster with such dress.

It seems like quite an economic handicap to suppress women in large parts of life. They must be losing millions, if not billions, worth of labour and efficiency each year. Saudi Arabia is not democratic but it's nice to see the royal family there making some changes.

This is not gonna happen just imagine what will happen if half of population of this country couldn't drive on road. It will be a mess. Even though women do cause a lot of traffic accidents.

Alwaleed bin Talal is one of the few progressive voices from the Saudi Royal Family. Unfortunately, this guy is having no political power. The clown prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud is now ruling Saudi Arabia indirectly, and he is a hardcore Islamist.

I agree with Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, women should have the right to drive also as equal with men. If the women is capable enough, why not since it is also their rights and freedom to do it. Besides they can also help the family like sending her daughter and fetch it.It has many advantages I hope KSA will rethink and allow it.

women's emancipation has led to bloated welfare states and moral decay through cultural marxism in the west, the arabs would do well to avoid our mistakes

then they will get even closer to hypergamy... remember camels or falcons are nice creature by nature... they have real instinct... most women quickly become hypergamous and enjoy you not knowing you are ejaculating in the same vagina as the guy 10 minute drive before... they call it "wet"... ahahaha.

easy to trust a desert wild camel with the life of the most precious but a woman... doubtful.

How would the ability to own a drivers license make them more hypergamous? Perhaps if their women were allowed to be self reliant they would not have the mind set of depending on marrying a rich husband.

you make me lose time. women independence is not a right it's something won. thieves are smarter than women can understand.

last women to have build empire? none it was always the men in the shadows using her as a front puppet Smiley.

alwaleed bib talal is a great prince when we compare him with the other princes , and as I see in the news he always trying to spread the good
but since he has no political position this will not change a thing , cause you can't imagine how the king and the religion men are ruling there

if you are the greatest scientist or researcher on this planet you still worth nothing in SA when you are arguing with one of their religion men
so I don't think that women will drive the cars any soon in Saudi Arabia
