Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
I appreciate individuals and organisations who put rich contents out there for those who can't afford to pay for certified courses to have it at their finger tips at no cost. Going through their courses I discovered they have option for beginners and intermediate which makes it easy to find a part that best suits the interest of the learner.

One limitation with online based learning is the ease to distraction and when there is nothing to motivate the mind to keep learning one might just abandon the course half way. I really think I should up skill, take a course but I am still having a hard time making a choice right now but I believe before the middle of the coming week I should have made up my mind on which to go for. Learning is one aspect of human existence that cannot be substituted for anything else.

We live in such fortunate times to be able to have access in completely free education. Michael Saylor's academy offers free courses on Computer Science, Business Administration, Social Science, Arts & Humanities, and many more: https://learn.saylor.org/.

What seemed to me very interesting is that it offers courses on Economics, but in contrast with modern academia, Saylor academy offers courses in Austrian economics:

Lectures are recorded by Saifedean Ammous, the economist who is known for writing the Bitcoin standard, which I absolutely recommend to read, if you haven't already. There are also other courses to take, like "Hard questions on hard money", "Principles of Macroeconomics", "Principles of Microeconomics", "What is Money?", and "Monetary History".

I created this thread for informing the public. I think it is absolutely amazing to have access to resources like these for free.
Thank you very much BHC for spotting these helpful articles and doing your best to relate it here in a big to help enlighten the members of this forum with valuable information on related areas of interest. I've also had a look at the free computer science courses and seen that they're only basics. It's not really grounded to train a person to maturity, so there's still work to do on the part of the learner.

I recommend interested tech persons to further their careers on paid platforms like pluralsight and Udacity or get financial aid on good and well grounded courses on Coursera. I've done courses like UI/UX on Coursera and trust me they're good.

I saw the detail on that website. That is big opportunity for youngers who want to be knowledgeable person by economy. We should read rules of economy because everyone is searching for money but they could not control their expenses . And one should learn knowledge of computer science because by knowledge of computer science we could make website and we can also many new things from that platform. Because that academy is good opportunity if we want to be manager of bounty and develops because from that academy we can learn how to make spreadsheet which is commonly used when hunters hunt bounty. On that platform we can learn basic knowledge of business and we can start our own business.

Sincerely speaking we live in such fortunate times considering the kind of academic books that are free to get online, in my early days of my academic pursuit, you will have to buy some of these books from vendors and bookshops at an expensive price, some times you can see them at school library but the authorities won't allow you go home with them.
"Principles of macro and micro Economics" are the books that gives you a deep explanation of how economies of countries are run with detailed analysis of principles revenue mobilization and how fiscal policies are made. Some of the books I've seen on the website are key educational books that help you grow your knowledge of understanding especially on academic fields.

Of course most of the institutions today hardly run a free courses to let people learn for free and have access to resourceful materials, and I also believed that if much people are doing this, including the government in most of the undeveloped countries then the rate of illiteracy could have reduced though and the world could had been a better place than this, maybe who knows if this poverty rate could have already reduce due to free education across the globe.
Anyway thanks for sharing, I will have to bookmark this page maybe at my spare time will have access most of the resources to understand things I didn't know.

Ignorance is the main reason why people are hesitant to do do something. If you educate them, it is like you are empowering to do things that previously they are scared of trying their hands on. This initiative is actually great for their people. Giving them the knowledge will go a long way.

These days one has to work hard to survive such that you become exhausted each time you come home. There are no more spare time to read and develop yourself. But I have observed that if I want to be free from this rat race, then I must create time to keep learning and improving my financial knowledge. I will check these courses and enrol in them since I will have time this holiday.
I think what you said in your first sentence/paragraph, contradicts on the third sentence or second paragraph. It must be the second paragraph that is true and always will be true for the most of us and this limits our potential. Technology have still evolved compared on the past, like what you said there on your first paragraph and some people are still able to improve their lives with the help of it.

Your observation is right but it only needs a common sense to realized this. It is not hard but the ones that is hard is on how you start acting on it but we should not think like that because that can only prevent us from starting. Things can still get better later down the road.

And sure getting such knowledge on economics is a good start and thanks for sharing such useful information.

Thank you for sharing. This is a nice piece of rich information that anyone who can make good use of it will definitely get a lot to benefit from. I checked their catalog and discovered they cover over 165 courses which economics is even a least of them all. In today's world where almost everything added knowledge is monetized we don't get to see academical resource of this kind for free on the internet all the time, which makes it a golden opportunity for interested persons to jump at without delay. I am thinking of enrolling in two courses right now, under social sciences.

Thank you for your information. Indeed we live on a fortunate time where you can stay in the comfort of your home and access so much quality information. I remember those days when you had to travel to other countries and spend so much money to have access to quality education.
