That's actually a pretty neat addition to Switzerland, I never though that they'd really be expanding it in such an aggressive manner, but I guess there's a first for everything. Wasn't there an article not too long ago related to something like 11,000 stores offering Bitcoin payments as well? I didn't think that their ail system was going to be included in all of this.

Or, the wealthy of the world are seeing something in Bitcoin. Might be worth keeping an eye on.

Technically absolutely useless, you do not need a mobile phone number to receive Bitcoins. It is a fascist piece of KYC rubbish. And discrimination against any person who does not reside in Switzerland. Sad

The legal limit for cash transactions to buy precious metals in Switzerland is CHF 25 000

The legal limit for other cash transactions is infinity.

Yet these bastards collect your phone no. for a mini purchase of CHF 500 (swiss phone no. is typically only available with ID)...not recommended. Imagine what they can do with such a database and a bit of blockchain analysis... Shocked
