have you seen how much the network is used, 2.6% the higher the price the more expensive to use storage which defeats the whole point of it.

there are funny things going on.

Anyone care to explain what he is saying because i don't get it either. The amount of siacoins for storage will be or probably is dynamic since siacoin, a cryptocurrencie, is volatile. So if the price of one SC increase do you have to pay less SC for storage?? and why do you have to pay with SC instead of Bitcoin or Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency?

he/we/them can explain it myself.

look here, http://siapulse.com/page/network

''359 hosts / Storage: 1,337 TB / Utilization: 1.68% / Network spending: $52791/month / Rent price: $2.06 TB/month''

so the higher the price of the coin, the higher the storage costs. it is only 1.6% at 2.06 per month, do you think as the coin price goes higher the usage on the network will increase?HuhHuh??

so sia is worth 400 million, do you think it is slightly over valued based on actual usage?

SIA is one of the best projects out there with a real use case. These guys have balls to want to go against Amazon. Not going to be easy and not going to happen over night...but definitely an alternative for smaller businesses/users.

That's one of the reasons why I love them. Cheesy I started boycotting Amazon when they shut down my Affiliate account for breaking their terms of services (which I didn't). They basically stole my money and said it was legal. Siacoin's success would be a nice way to say: "Fuck you."

Up until just yesterday, I had a sizeable position in Siacoin.  Yeah, it's got more growth potential, but you got to remember how many coins there are and realize that any potential price increase is going to be hampered by that fact.  I think there's better opportunities out there, but Siacoin is still a good investment.

Once the issues with poloniex are resolved this train will probably steam off for $0.1 or even more. It seems the devs are working around the clock at this so won't be long probably.

i see a difference, mining profitability is high, i see a big dump.. polo is the biggest market, limit supply, increase in demand equals, higher price, probably polo scamming again.

Yeah I am not super familiar with the storage prices in correlation with network usage.  But I did experience the shift from alt to btc yesterday which decreased liquidity for pretty much every alt coin.  I'm just interested about siaoin. I have already flipped it a few times but wondering whats the deal the with the current market for the coin.

Siacoin was .00000600 last night.  It is .0-535 now.  Any ideas of how they will fare going forward.  Any news stories that are interesting.  Any ideas?
