Few coins like litecoin, monero have real-world usage but then I'm thinking a time will come when we won't have so many altcoins available. Just some few stable and strong ones left standing.

If we reach that phase in the evolution and the development of the world of cryptocurrencies, then I think Litecoin and Monero, as you mentioned will continue to thrive.  Both coins are here for the science as they say and not the occasional pump and dump scamming that keeps going on here.

The general idea for this coin is very interesting and I'm glad its getting some support
(115+ BTC volume on Poloniex today)

I may invest a few dollars in case it hits,
but I want to do a little more research into the technical aspects before i put any serious amount of money up.
If anyone knows of good technical posts not on this forum I would appreciate a link to them. Thanks!

Yes the idea is okay, but the project has been on for some time, and nobody is using it, if we keep living in Kukuli land with all these Altcoins, when is the real world going to start using it, also when is the SIA coin going to start having real value apart from the occassional pump and dump

I'm happy that finally there is some real world usage for altcoins...

I on the other hand already unloaded.  It seems to have lost its momentum and it's already beginning to lose its uptrend.  When that happens I tend to stay in the sidelines and prefer to wait without any money put at stake, unlike some of the people here who like to wait while having put some money in.

It still looks good so far with no serious sell downs.  There were a couple but the bidders were happy to accommodate and catch them.  And as google98 said, the release of v1.1 is this Friday.  So let's see what goes on in the trading front at Polo.  The way things are looking, the traders have been accumulating and maybe expecting a pump more than a dump.  We'll see...
Agreed , on charts SC looking good so far.

In the meant time the Poloniex whales are done with LBC/BTC and all eyes are back to SC/BTC.  There were two monster buys made today that drove the price up and is now stable at .00000045 BTC.  I guess it's now or never before another monster buy happens in an hour or two.

From experience I have learnt that most of these hype surrounding release of new version always result into dump, since the hype would have made the coins to be pumped and the news dumped the coin. By the rumour sell the news
