Your report is what alerted me to this thread, but anyone could just create a thread accusing someone of sending them a phishing link without proof to try get them banned (not that I'm doubting this happened but I'd rather be sure). Reporting PMs directly is always the fastest and best way to go about it.

Please report the message to me and he'll be banned. You can just report the PM in future and it'll get dealt with. Thanks.
I just reported the main post as the account is trying to impersonate trusted members of the forum and requested a ban.Does it work out like that ? Or the Pm has to come through the victim only ?

whenever someone sends a link to you, just hover it and at the bottom you can find the place where it will redirect you upon clicking.
Avoid clicking links as SSL is even not secure as interpreted. try searching for sslkeylog in windows and you will understand it.

1.Hover over the link, don't click it.
2.You will find the place where it will take you, when clicked.

Just other newbie throwaway account made for scamming.Glad that you dodged a bullet there.All the legit bitcointalk links are highlighted in green,the one above isn't,makes it obvious it's shady.
I've tagged the account and also requested mods to ban the account as they're impersonating a trusted member of the forum.

What happened:: This dude wanted to buy from me 1.8 BTC for WU , So I told him that he must escrow to finalise the deal.
After some hours , he returned and sent me this message :
OK aeyrton55/Zaizoun I agree to act as Escrow one more time for your trade.

Please make sure you complete the deal this time as I very busy and dont have any time to waste.

Seller = Zaizoun
Buyer = aeyrton55
Goods : 1.8BTC
Payment method : Bank Transfer
Price : Bitstamp +10%

Escrow fee = 0.25% (Payable by aeyrton55)

  • Zaizoun please transfer 1.8BTC to my Escrow address: 16ooyFeKn6JGB7t6oFMy8A2ttSpJ2xY2wP
    Never send to any other address!!

The Escrow address can be verified in my main Escrow thread : www.bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281

As you see , He sent me a false ANN thread who refers to another website (not btctalk) and a false payment address .
I contacted MonBux to verify :
Hello monbux , can you confirm Aeyrton55 sent you a message ?
If yes please resend me your address I will exactly send 1.8btc
No.  I have not sent any messages.  Most likely an imposter trying to scam you.
