I don't think that is the ANN thread of that project. Also by "Post... in this bitcointalk thread" they must have meant the bounty thread actually. So it is not a case where they are breaking forum rules and hence doesn't needs a mod action IMO.

He's getting paid to promote those shitcoins, so obviously he won't do anything. Money over quality.
I've negged him. Make sure to always report the threads (as mentioned above); this should be enough for a ban.
Thank. So I do, but after blocking the theme, OP created a new one.

It's terrible that such large resources as AirdropAlert publish this shit without hesitation, (I wrote to Morten "CEO" several times, trying to stop this unwanted spam, but without success).

Btw, you don't need to post report about every single ICO whose starter is obviously breaking forum rules. Hit "report" button, write in comments "altcoin giveaway" and point moderator to part where they are giving tokens for posting inside their thread - this should be more than enough  Wink
Thanks for the advice. But for control, I decided to create additional notes as OP re-create new threads.  Roll Eyes

Why is this thread in reputation? Move it to meta.

~
Well yes, it is against rules, especially this part:

I really do not understand the reason why you've posted this here..
It's no longer news that noobs get paid incentives to bumb threads such as the aforementioned one..
Simply report to the moderator as there is absolutely no need creating a new topic here in meta about this..
"Simply report to the moderator" - Doesn't work all the time (most of the time it does) but when it comes to stuff like bashing an entire thread or permabanning hundreds of accounts, they need manual intervention and hence creating a separate thread for them to look at the issue closely helps.

Glad the thread is already trashed OP. You should have got the shit-posters tagged as well.

Thank you for your comment (I added a request for moving the thread)

There is an option for you to move the thread yourself.
At the bottom left of this page, you would see two options, lock topic and move topic.. Select, move topic and where you want to move the topic to.
You might want to archive it, and also lock it to prevent any spam on the thread.

Rules for bitcointalk.org

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
*It all comes down to these three things:
- Shitposters write poorly-written posts.
- Shitposters produce vapid content.
- Shitposters are incentivized to post.

a) Do I need to mark the accounts that are involved in the promotion of ANN?
b) Guys, the power of my word is not enough for my (trust) comment to be visible for the public. Help Pls.
c) I took a design sample from one OP who writes about the same
