They make sense, you just don't like the reasoning. If I open a scam accusation against you and provide no evidence or shaky evidence at best what's the matter? Nobody would pay attention and would just make people lose respect for you (if they had any to begin with).

Why are you bothered anyway? Did someone tag one of your alt accounts or something?

Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.

You think thats an answer ?  If you PEOPLE have no time to delete a Scam accusations  Than Simply PREVENT members from starting it.

Yeah and let newbies get scammed even more since there's no info about a possible scammer. Read the stickies next time:

Some guidelines:

1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.

As in, this forum's rules are based on free speech and as such you can claim whatever you want as long as it's done in a constructive manner.

No one would want this forum to be populated by scammers hence it would make sense for a scam accusation section to exist. If mods were to start delete scam accusations, people would be complaining about the mods being overly biased. No one would honestly trust that the person is saying the truth without specific proofs. The main point of Bitcoin is for transparency.

That was a perfectly good answer by mprep.

If you stopped anyone from creating a scam accusation, then scammers could go around freely without being called out. If you restrict lower-ranked members from creating scam accusations, then what if they were actually scammed? They wouldn't be able to do a thing, and the scammers would probably target newbies.

Hi ,

If you are a new or an old bitcointalk member you will see lots of Scam accusations here from rated (Mostly) and non rated members, without a single given proof (Just playing smart) and maybe you'll be the next to suffer from this.

So i'm asking WHY there is no rules to prevent this? or do i have the right to open a new thread to waste people's time by saying they are scammers and give them a bad name ? without any proof ?

This is getting wierd and Must be Stopped immediately.
