but I didn't find anything about him being advisor for stoxum on his icobench's profile neither on his linkedin profile.

I researched a little about his company and sent him an email asking if he is part of this grim project and I am waiting for his response, if he answers me I will post here in the thread what was his response.

We can say there is no team.

But that still is not enough to accuse them of being scammers.

Adviser you can hire.it doesn't mean they are responsible for scam.

I am investigating these advisors and I am waiting for the email response that I sent to Mr Dean Karakitsos to confirm whether he is part of or not part of that project, after that we will ask these advisors to say who are the real owners of this project

And you're going to warn the people of what? that they have an anonymous team?
Not only that. We can say there is no team. Adviser not part of fund management. Even ICO not listed on adviser portfolio. You can see above.  Adviser you can hire.it doesn't mean they are responsible for scam.

strange, now that you have commented on this I went to review again in the site that I had seen him and I see that they posted as if it were Team member. if anyone could contact Dean Karakitsos to find out if he is even the advisor or team member of the stoxum,  would be very good.

I don't know why he not yet tag.

they are anonymous, they did not post photos of random people on the internet to say they are members of the team, these guys are much smarter and unless we find credible evidence that they are scam no one will be able to accuse them of anything, we have to be watching and see what they will do

Because people should know before buy their token. Their ANN and bounty still live.

People should start doing research before investing, if they love their precious money.

Even not enough proof for scam but should tag him to warn people. Their ANN and bounty is controlled by themselves.

And you're going to warn the people of what? that they have an anonymous team?

The Advisors are not anonymous, so they must know the identities of all members of the team
Yes, but:

I wouldn't feel comfortable in investing in these ICOs. It seems extremely unprofessional in my opinion to have animated team members instead of actual ones when you're asking for thousands if not millions in funding from the public.
Um, yeah.  Can you imagine if a publicly traded company tried to get away with that shit?  It wouldn't happen, not in the US, not in the poorest country in Africa.  If you wonder why the US banned its residents from investing in ICOs, look no further than this one.  Is this actually legal anywhere?

It's bad enough that these scam ICOs are stealing photos of real people, but this tactic is just insulting to all potential investors.  Developers should not be anonymous, and for good reason.  Do you want to give money to a random stranger who's hyping up a project that's probably useless to begin with?  No sane person would do that.

Am I not getting the point, or is this project literally just a centralized exchange with some fancy tech names?

But either way, they are being extra secretive about their team which is pretty much never done in ICOs. It certainly warrants suspicions over whether they do have a competent team or not. Even the real names aren't given, which is another shady aspect of this. Who can accuse anyone if something goes wrong with the ICO? They're all anonymous.

There are no guarantees of that. The advisors could have simply been offered a sum of money to follow along with the project and make it more appealing to the public, while having no idea what the team is actually doing.

...

It is very strange that they post these images, so no one can accuse them of anything since they are anonymous and there have not yet been reports of stealing money from people. I spent hours researching and did not find anything yet, although something left me with a lot of doubts, but it's only my guess, so far I have nothing against these guys.

https://stoxum.org/en/?#team

I think this is serious project idea is also very impressive but team introduction is not looking good. You should show a professional approach about the future of this project and reveal this secret instead of fun pics.

Yes, you are right - during the conclusion of contracts with some marketing companies, we are denied promotion because we do not post information about the team, so in some ways this is a big omission. Nevertheless - this is our concept. We provide a basis for the community to develop the platform on its own.

Most likely, as a result, users of reddit, as usual, will disclose the secret after we publish the code on the github, since we have already created products in this area.

with that I suppose it is possible to know who they are

... if I understand the problem that they are trying to address(which I really don't)...

Not much of a problem-solving with this one. Just another 'revolutionary' centralised exchange, promising dividends on tokens every 10 minutes, to be run by anonymous people (who will lose any financial incentive to do anything the moment the ICO is over).

It's not guaranteed to be scam yet, however.

But as I said, I simply wouldn't dare or be interested in investing in this, even if I understand the problem that they are trying to address(which I really don't). Because either they have something to hide by not using real photos, or that they don't have enough experience. Like having a team like this is literally worthless, there isn't even a single linkedin profile here.

LOL, they actually have this 'explained' in their FAQ:

Quote
Why doesn't the team reveal their names?
The main idea of the project is to create a product managed by society. In this case, the product itself belongs to the community, and not to certain individuals.

In other words, let the community do the development, we'll just take the money.

I see nothing wrong with anonymous devs/projects, but you simply don't run the ICO if you want to stay anonymous. This shit is a blatant scam.

I have question about STOXUM ICO. Why they didn’t use real photo on their team. They just use look like animated photo. Also bounty and ANN manage by themselves . Who is behind of this project ? They use only advisor real picture. Advisor can hire. So no meaning advisor picture.
And name they use it's joke , Stox, Go , Javascript, Market Lol.

I am not yet consider as a scam. If they failed to provide right answer then I will consider as a scam ICO.

Lolz. Do you think this is enough reason to hide team? They are going to open exchange and they are hide. Why people will paid them ?
You are going to collect million but you will hide ? How can I trust you ?
