Hi. Sorry for the delay in responding, and thanks everyone for your responses. I'm no spring chicken with internet scams. I did the obvious thing anyone would do ahead of knowing this board even existed. I googled 'bitcoin casinos'. And beyond the likely paid promo sites that i had to wade through, i found this post on this forum, which to date has seen only my recent reply as the only negative comment about them.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitbetcom-462479

As you will see, i also posted a reply to the thread above.

I didn't know there was a rating system in place here. I have learned plenty about how to ID more legit sites since this experience, but to those that snicker or think its another example of a fool and his money parting, I based my decision partly on any lack of negative feedback from this board, following the site promoting themselves in the thread above.

Later, when searching for other posts about bitbet.com being a scam, It's a little noisy, because there's lots of people talking about bitbet.US, and you see all kinds of complaints and support.

The smaller bet sites got his deserved bad reputation as many of them turn into scams..

Well, I am here with bad news and to eat major crow (as I was willing to give this website the benefit of the doubt)  Roll Eyes

In an effort to get OP his money back, I went to the site and contacted LIVE HELP.  Wow, pretty impressive accept no one is there.  This was also the case last night when I checked.

Clearly, clearly a SCAM SITE!

OP, out of curiosity, what attracted you to that site?  I genuine hope it wasn't the pretty woman on the homepage. They don't offer deposit bonuses nor an affiliate program...

So why give them your money rather than one of the established sportsbooks?

Maybe someone won way too much and they are in trouble?
The established sites have a huge advantage because players can always expect to be paid when they cash-out.

Agree on both your points.  This is why I only advocate certain sites.  More than half of them are scams!

You really, really, REALLY think you're getting scammed out out like $40.....

There have been some recent issues with blockchain and while I can't and won't couch for this new operation, I would bet you get your entire .1 BTC back....

I deposited .10 BTC on bitbet.com, requested a cashout for roughly the same as was deposited, and have not received any kind of payout. Despite multiple status inquiries, I have not received any contact or payout. A transcript of a chat session is copied below. Keep in mind, this is a cashout of .10 BTC - we're not talking a lot. If they can't handle .10 BTC...

Given the delay, the multiple inquires that turned up flat, what reasonable person could read the below, and feel confident they were dealing with an honest company?

Chris: BITBET.COM CHAT REQUEST Hello. I am for the 3rd time requesting status of cashout request for ID BITXXXXXXX. Thanks

You are now speaking with Carolina of Payouts Questions.

Chris: hello.

Carolina: Hi Chris!
Chris: hows your day going?

Carolina: Good Chris! Thanks for asking!
Chris: i requested a cashout a week ago, perhaps longer now. i thought the expected wait was to be around 24 hours. im just concerned. reading a lot of negative stuff, and this being my first cashout attempt, you kind of want that to go smoothly to build up trust.

Carolina: Ok sir let me check
Carolina: Ok Chris
, I passed your information to my supervisor, and she goes to commission for resolving.
Just be ready to have your information, we will be sending a confirmation.
We will give you as soon as possible the payout.

Chris: is there an explanation for the delay?

Chris: and i don't understand why i would not receive any kind of confirmation to my email immediately upon requesting the cashout

Carolina: Yes sir,
we have delays with Bitcoins, but we will prioritize you to have the information as soon as possible

Chris: What am i confirming in the confirmation?

Chris: or are you confirming my cashout?

Carolina: That
has already processed your payout

Chris: i see. so, everyone lately has been experiencing delays due to issues with bitcoins?

Carolina: There are enough in the process
Chris: ok. thanks for your time. i hope to see a successful cashout so that trust is established. as of now, im still worried.

Carolina: Your welcome sir
Carolina: Have a good day!
