What Happens: use fake profil, unable to give simple guarantees / information about team members
Solicited interlocutors: Amanda Stoun (PR-Spécialist) ;
Alfred Morales "Front-end
Developer", leader of the US team
Initial researchA few weeks ago, while checking the fundamentals of Aircraft's ICO project, I was surprised by the "American Direction Development Team"
(you know what I mean, professional pictures of handsome and brighter people make me jealous and suspicious
)
and above all, 2 weeks ago, the photos were not linked to anything (no Linkedin account, twitter, etc...)
Discussions that are not frankly informativeI talked by Telegram (for a period of about ten days) with "Alfred" and "Amanda", I don't post all the exchanges here to summarize, I didn't have the slightest tangible element.
The progression has been quite classic: first of all unverifiable banalities, no satisfactory answer to the questions (where are the linkedin, the social networks of the US team - all thirty years old, is it possible to have the address of the "offices in Bern, Switzerland", mentioned in the WP, that kind of thing...).
Then "surprising" statements such as
"As far as i know no member of Aircraft team has experience in ICOs, so there can be possibility of mistakes" or "You're the first person I spoke with about the Aircraft company. I can add a link to this telegram if someone will need to stay in touch with me"...And finally, mistrust and a change of tone (what is my identity, etc...)
The return of the Linkedin's revengeThis morning, surprise!
3 members of the team appears with their Linkedin profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonas-s-299869170/https://www.linkedin.com/in/giorgio-f-651a13170/https://www.linkedin.com/in/lee-h-598812170/By the way, 2 comments: family names are made up
of a single letter (making it more difficult to detect identity theft)
AND in the Linkedin profiles url, we find in all 3 cases,
the same final numbers (170 in this case) I don't know what to think about it yet, but I think it's
an interesting information to detect profiles created at the same time...)
Let's take a look at
Jonas Steur "Developer"
In fact, this is the real Jonas: Jonas Skorpil, a German model and photographer:Jonas Skorpil Intagram:

http://www.pictame.com/user/jonasskorpil/2922097409/1395152725981183621_2922097409I stop there, I have a feeling that some distinguished members of the forum, better than me at detecting photo theft, would be able to demonstrate that Jonas is not the only victim of identity theft in this case...
Something tells me that
Amanda, the "PR-Specialist" with whom I've talked a lot may not look like this in real life....
