the way is still the same as what has happened, my question is whether people will continue to be deceived, hmm maybe it's true that everyone who just joins crypto will be tempted. so there's nothing wrong with us warning them good job, mate.

When a hype is created in the market, everyone's eye is on it. Uni tokens are such a hype, since they gave tokens through the community giveaway and mentioned some rules there, so most of people didn’t get those tokens. And because of this, everyone is looking for another way to get tokens. And this time the scammers are trying to take the most chances. So by exposing these scams, we can warn everyone, new and old members.

because the uni hype is still happening until now I think some people should be warned, remembering things like this I am reminded of when I first entered the crypto world and encountered this type of scam, it's just that they give ETH to you 10 times as much as you send to them , and to be honest I was almost tempted to ask the person who taught me whether it was true or a fraud.

It always happens. When newcomers come to the crypto market, they think of making a quick profit, and in doing so they put themselves at risk. Because they are unwilling to understand that there is no safe way to raise funds quickly for free. Fake giveaways are one of the most widely used scams by scammers, as newbies cannot control their greed so they fall into the trap of such fake giveaways.

This was going to happen taking into account that various trader's who traded on Uniswap before Sep 1, 2020 are being gifted with generous rewards of 400 UNI per account. People who have seen old scams should not have fallen for this and thode who sent them, please RIP your UNI as you have lost a gem.

I don't know who is sending these funds, but these scammers are getting huge amount of funds in their wallets which was very little even yesterday. Is it a matter of concern that so many people are falling into this trap? However, many newcomers will be the victims of this scam, the main reason is that there is a lot of hype in the market with these coins, so many people will be victims of scams because they can not handle greed.
They are really quick in scamming people if there is popular trend but most probably there victims are newbies of crypto, regardless of the season they can always make cash from poor victims. Thats why self learning in crypto is very important but most new entrants are failing to do it.

The website already got a phishing warning but the scammer continues to get money amounting to 80ETH.

I got to wonder how many users are still very naive to send when they are aware of UNISWAP. For a person who knows how to use Uniswap means, he got to have a good knowledge of how all these works.

Look at this scamers continue to act with their own tricks and being asked to deposit in order to get double UNI is really a fraud and they spread it on the telegram channel under the name of the Uniswap telegram account.

This is a different scammer but doign the same thing, UNI really caught the attention of everyone after hte release of the utility token.

This type of scam projects have their specific target and they launch their project only for them. They know that who have lack of knowledge about crypto related scam projects or comparatively new in crypto will easily send fund to their wallet and this is why they launch multiple scam project in a regular basis. Actually you can't do nothing but creating awareness about crypto scam and we can only keep them far who follow bitcointalk or have account here. Sorry to say that most victims feel it necessary to post their thread here after getting scammed.

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot more of this fake uniswap token giveaways soon.
It is trending and scammers follow trends.
Its nothing new and scammers know well how to attract immature investors and when. Yeah,,,you are right. Maybe some of their uniswap related scam projects are on development mode.

...People now really wanted to used every hype just to steal funds. Damn scammers.

Every hype is used by scammers to deceive people. But I didn't expect them to react so quickly to the free giveaway from Uniswap. Now many people are trying to find the answer in Google, how to get 400 UNI and by mistake can take part in a fake distribution.
That is what is worried, of course, beginners will find out via google about how to get this or find this fake giveaway on Twitter and other social media, so I'm afraid that many are caught in this scamer trap.

I am sure that there will be new tricks coming up again. Scamer will not stay idle where there is hype there, scamer will act with their bad intentions.

Trust me this fake giveaway won't get you more money than anyone.

Already expected this that someoje might imitate the giveaway on real uni tokens giveaway. I cant say uniswap giveaway is real airdrop, since only users who are using uniswap can benefited from it. Having wallets that used on uniswap can easily give you 400uni each. That is worth mroe or less 1k above. Lucky are those who get it. But in spite of that there are some who abuses it by creating fake airdrops. People now really wanted to used every hype just to steal funds. Damn scammers.
