I am totally F##KED UP using BITCOIN INDIA. Though of trying out as they offer many coin BUT it turned out to be the BIGGEST mistake of my life. I bought 2 ETH for participation in some ICO and i needed to transfer then to my eth wallet, BUT ..F##K they have just the button "SEND ETH" which only says "Wallet is under maintenance...", when clicked. Now i have send countless mails and just waiting for last 5 days like hell and thinking how to get back my money or ETH.

REALLY WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

SCAM ALERT BITCOIN INDIA ? So you dont really need to ask here about every website you hear if its scam site or not. Just use comon sense, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck then its a duck. So if somebody offers you more then 10 percent a day, an hr, or in a month etc then run. Every logical person knows that its impossible to make that much roi unless you are in the stock market, or investing directly into cryptos and not this scam sites who promise you BTC or high ROI for your investments in such a short time. Most of them are scams or ponzi schemes. Use comon sense and stay away.

I know the guy from LBC. Yes very crappy and slow service.

Dude's name is sykam reddy if anyone cares

So does he buy/sell from LB  Huh so then what is his site for if he has to buy/sell from LB.  It is obvious if the person spent time on LBC then how will he handle his site and the orders of his customers. Sometimes just do now understand why they open an site when they cannot handle.

I noticed "Bitcoin-India" username here and on LBC and observed their activities & can confirm that they are the same entity as the pax who operate scam website.
Beware. Things are shady enough as it is.
Got my tether.to verification approved. Hell yeah! Finally will get to buy alt coins with fiat currency without going thru the indigenous thieves.

BTCHoDl Strong!BTC

Does tether.to allow Indian users to register?

Tehter Disabled all new sign ups at the moment , since they got hacked . They mentioned on website that they are upgrading their system .

Well, what was claimed to be an Independence day for Bitcoin turned out to be a candy treat for bitcoin holders with most of them receiving their shares of new Bitcoin cash BCH coins. In short it means that if you hold Bitcoins, after the split/fork, you will have both BTC and Bitcoin cash balances in other words, your coin holdings will double but careful because some of the bicoin users are not safe.

Bitcoin India has suspended accounts of many users and users are unable to get their money back.
There is no positive reply from customer care.
Those who have accounts there, please withdraw their money asap.

Be Safe.

Namaskar fellow Indians,

I can vouch for this. Have been using bitcoin-india.org as a convenient way to accumulate, although they sell at a premium over international exchanges. I started 2 months back and have learned that it is feasible to buy cheap BTCs from LBC and purchase alt coins from bittrex or poloniex. Anyone just starting could learn from this shared experience.

Back to the matter at hand. "bitcoin-india.org" has always had horrible customer support, buggy interface. But they crossed all limits on the 15th of Sept. During the recent deep market correction (on 15th sept) their buy prices were sky high. I told them so and some issue started with their prices. They ended up shutting down services for over 24 hours. Upon revival the next evening, my account was suspended without explanation. Several attempts to contact them via various channels of communication seemed futile. The next day, they sent me a one sentenced apology email and revived back my account. Needless to say, I have withdrawn all cash and coins from there and transferred to secure wallets.
Going to get legal advice but dont think anything can happen as sector not regulated yet, although they are registered as "BITCOIN INDIA SOFTWARE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED"

Its my first post on btalk. dont think i can upload images. so here's a link to it instead. imgur(dot)com/tOf8vLY
The only edit on this is me removing my profile pic next to the battery level indicator.

Go ahead and read all their stellar reviews on facebook. link: facebook(dot)com/pg/Bitcoin(dot)India(dot)Org/reviews/?ref=page_internal

Stay safe, not scared.

And above all, HoDl Strong!!!

I was looking forward to opening an account with the exchange but I am not anymore. Its always a good idea to check the forum talks before investing in some exchange/coin that is not yet popular... Thanks for sharing..

Most welcome ZA! Yup, this Indian forum is a boon for desi crypto enthusiatsts; amateurs and pros alike.
Have fun trading/investing!

I always knew this things will happen especially with the unknown so called exchanges that come up in recent time and will vanish taking the money or will suspend the account when the dip takes place and when you actually want to buy it you cannot buy it because they will not transfer money etc. Also their company name includes software and they are into bitcoin business?  Huh

Right on. You live n u learn.....

Another awful MAJOR MESS UP of theirs is that they give you wallet addresses of different cyptos in your account. You think you are in control of them esp. for 3rd party transfers. But lol.

For example, countless times have I tried to send ETH from my primary secure wallet to the address they provide me to store ETH in (in my bitcoin-india.org account). Upon checking blockchain ledger online to view the newly made txn, I see no records whatsoever! Upon contacting their customer "support", 10-90 minutes thereafter, some random address stores it in my bitcoin-india.org wallet. Same goes for outgoing transactions. Same goes for XRP, BTC and who knows which other cryptos that they offer. This is just ridiculous!

Too many valuable resources I have lost while dealing with this crappy service. Namely time and peace of mind.
Eff em' henceforth.

Kindly share the proof if you have any because firstly this site is hardly known to anyone as people would only like to trade with reputed exchanges which have a trustworthiness. One should also be very careful because now days many new exchanges are coming up and some of this may be scam and will not refund the money back.

Well i second that.. As well known sites dont have any issues till date. There are yes many exchanges, and you cannot rely on everyone of them.
