No, problem is not solved. It turned out that the bitcoin.org has many vulnerabilities and poses a threat to inexperienced users

Everybody must to know that BITCOIN.ORG - IS SCAM

One of co-owners of bitcoin.org - is real scammer. I know his name

Amazingly, none of bitcoin.org team can pinpoint the reason for the hack. Problem is not solved

There has been a serious scam, and these DT-trolls want to hush everything up. We will not allow it. We won't let you fool the entire crypto community.

@OP can you lock this topic? It's already solved and bitcoin.org back to online again. It's just not good to see shit account trolling around in this thread with baseless opinions and spreading nonsense FUD to make people interested with his scam shitcoin lol.

Otherwise we can't gain success in Crypto. Bitcoin
In crypto you wouldn't know which project is scammer or honest person, because you're picking 1/8000 unknown coin.

It's better to ignore him altogether, you won't be able ever to enter a meaningful discussion with him if you want to warn others about him just quote him with an empty message and add imbecile  Grin
Had the fool in my ignore list already, did some checks on the trust of the imbecile, there's definitely no way a healthy discussion will happen against someone who was born in an echo chamber, they won't hear opinions other than themselves.

Cobra - Scammer
Cobra organized everything himself, and CloudFlare has nothing to do with it
Didn't Cøbra lost the rights or have relinquished his hold on the website? So how come he's doing this? Not to mention that you're pretty suspicious given that you have a lot of negative flags.

Look who's here.

A self-confessed scammer and promoter of a shitcoin that will never see the light of day a few years from now. The only direction BSV is headed is downwards, and there's nothing you can do about it, however much you try to pump the shitcoin.

Stop pretending like you care about Bitcoin. Well all know your motives in this forum

So far, no one knows for sure how the website got hacked.
Self-hackers

What is odd is why the hacker chose the most common type of scams (doubler) while he had the possibility to exploited this hack in "better" ways!
Carefull self-hackers

bitcoin.org is up again!
Off course, who would doubt?

But most likely it was due to a dns attack

So far, no one knows for sure how the website got hacked. But most likely it was due to a dns attack since Cøbra confirmed in a recent reply on twitter that none of his accounts were compromised.

Cobra made a tweet about the attack some hours back. Luckily, the message doesn't show up right now, which means the attack may have been neutralized for now

I think putting the site down until they discover how it was hacked and patch up the vulnerability should be a good move.

What? You're the one here that has the negative trust and you're blaming Cobra when he was relinquished of his title as the maintainer of the website, nice move from CSW and you to frame him.

It's better to ignore him altogether, you won't be able ever to enter a meaningful discussion with him if you want to warn others about him just quote him with an empty message and add imbecile  Grin

Thannks For sharing about this scam but actually I know about these types of scams

There are a lot of people who still don't know, that why the scams are still happening because they are still productive.

Two good news now
- seems like I can't get that message to show even with adblocks disabled on mobile/desktop
- the first transaction to that address seems fishy, 0.4 out of those 0.405 are most   likely the scammers own money to make it look like the address had indeed received funds,

The fund from the first deposit split to
bc1q3jpj0tpq0wcr8pmq2q6j0c2naf2hjas32nm8z3
only to end up again in
1NgoFwgsfZ19RrCUhTmmuLpmdek45nRd5N

So probably they've only managed to scam 5 mbits not 0.4BTC

.....The reason why it matters is that most people still erroneously believe bitcoin is a company or stock, that it has a CEO and shareholders. That is why regular users keep falling for scams like this, thinking that people "ruling" bitcoin want to reward them for "support". No, it's a totally wrong approach. There are no CEOs, there are no official representatives, there are no any people in charge. Bitcoin is decentralized, which means you should think for yourself when dealing with bitcoin, there is no customer support in bitcoin. Be always vigilant.

Newbies have this mindset because they don't totally understand how blockchain and decentralization work, those who are investing in these Bitcoin-based companies are investors of MLM and high yield investment, they mixed their investment knowledge to Bitcoin because there are many Ponzi and MLM that uses blockchain, and call themselves better than Bitcoin one example was Onecoin.

It is worth pointing out that bitcoin.org is not "official", it's merely a website dedicated to bitcoin. Despite the fact that it was launched by the creator of Bitcoin, it doesn't make it official.
