It's a nice catch OP, that's why I barely join giveaways or even airdrops, they are prone to that fraudster and it might also fake sites that contained malware infections. We should always look into the official website announcement and most importantly, avoid any telegram group or any social media groups that keep spreading fake events.
Actually, giveaway and airdrop are now scattered on social media, if a beginner doesn't want to get caught up in this, it's better to avoid it than you are being targeted, but what I pay attention to giveaway is that you have to deposit first, at least avoid it further because it is clearly fake want to drain your money.
For airdrop after what I did, there are indeed many that are still legitimate, but if it is only doing the job, you can do it if the rest is more than that then it is necessary to avoid sometimes being told to stare at the software and that's where to be more careful even though the malware is always inserted in the application.

Good catch @op!
I found another fake giveaway but from Binance this time:
scam: https://claimeth[dot]io

This user just woke up from a long period of inactivity and started posting the above link on different boards.

I believe both websites are owned by the same person as they clearly follow the same pattern.
Well as a scammer, you have to cast your net a little bigger to catch more dumb and desperate fishes, I am pretty sure that this is not just the only website that this user is managing. The Coinbase giveaway was definitely a scam from a mile away, and they even have the audacity to have a big minimum amount to deposit, I have to bet that the generated address will be the same for many users.

Presumably, that user was an old member here, his post history was claiming of lost account.
That account deserves to be nuked, I have seen different styles of spreading fake events to trap their victims, posting on different local boards.

Again I found a fake giveaway on behalf of Coinbase which is a big exchange, in its telegram channel with the name Filecoin even though this project doesn't have a Telegram channel after I visited the official site.

So I hope this heart is a trap !!!

This is definitely a trap. Using the name of a popular exchange like Coinbase, they have created this fake giveaway website so that people can easily trust them. Attempts at such scams have been available online for a long time, and many crypto users have already fallen victim to such scams.

As a result of exposing this fake giveaway website, many crypto users may refrain from falling into this trap.
