i have confirmed with my local bank that my wire transfer went through

and there is an increasing number of victims replying to my posts on "warning about using okpay" - the fucking scammer company who will ignore you NOW (not in the past) when you send your wire transfer

Given OKPay number of users, there has to be few trouble cases. Your bank maybe didnt process the bank wire, or there is some problem with this bank wire

I had used OKPay to get 1000€ to btc-e. The verification took a damn long time but the transfer worked flawlessly. Did it only once tho.

But remember, people are fast to call it scam when something doesn't work as they expect. Give them some time, they are kinda slow.

EDIT: That was 1.5 months ago tho.

I also had bad experience with them. After a hell of bureaucracy and waiting plus blocking times finally I was able to move my money to btc-e .. but this did take another 24 hours.. in the mean time I had 0 Euro left in my okpay wallet and 0 Euro in btc-e.. I don't know who is at fault here, but this is one major factor holding crypto currencies back. All the services around using "old" money to purchase alt coins suck incredibly and seem not trustworthy at all.

I am not using okpay, and will probably never use it.

okpay is scam ?? I m new but I can tell that okpay has been around since longer than most of you who have posted here made your accounts..

It is old, but this does not prove its reliability.

This is amazing. I will recommend that you visit www.talkgold.com and make a post about this. Almost all the payment processors has some kind of staff or ICT intelligence on that forum and that issue will be resolved. Also btc-e, mtgox can even delay your Transaction. When you need BTC kindly let us know we shall do that in maximum 1hr. Visit us and confirm. We care for our customers and we complete transactions with Speed.

I have tried OKpay in the past, and quite frankly, everything about their service sucks.

It is made difficult to do anything on their site at every turn, and then when you finally manage, they take your money. Luckily I never moved any decent amount through the site.

I have the same experience with you. I have 50K USD wire transfer before 10 days.
Now, I have been unable to visit my OKPAY account.

But wait, there are other ways? We should unite!

do not be a victim like me - i consider my $2000 wired to my okpay wallet more than 30 days ago a loss

okpay is quick to answer questions before i sent my funds, when i told them i wired my funds, they fell silent, only 2 occasions they gave me a reply during this long 30 plus days - such reply is confusing and does not tell me why i do not have my funds yet in my account

i called their no. and discovered its an answering machine

i checked their address and its a p.o. box in the british virgin islands

save yourself the trouble and financial loss

okpay was introduced to me by btc-e.com as a way to fund my btc-e account but okpay decided to just keep my money and ignore me

mtgox also uses okpay

so this 3 companies are doing something the fbi should dig into
