I have no idea how pancakeswap works. Is it decentralized in the sense that you simply advertise your project and pay fees, because the number of fake coins on it is alarming? Binnace recently became the official sponsor of Lazio, and scammers have already taken advantage of this to defraud its followers by offering airdrops and tokens. Pathetic.

You can add a token there by simply posting the contract address, that is why it's very important to check and double-check the contract address of the token that you want to buy, this is basic, all tokens created emanates from the smart contract, you can get the smart contract from the coin's website or in their official chat group just be sure you are asking the right admin.

Back again to find a fake Lazio project that they are using scamers keep trying to deceive the victims by run airdrops and also cheap presales, remember this is all a fake trap and they promise Binance listings are the same as the official ones.

All of these are fake and the official one is the launchpad on Binance.

people will start to learn, as these scammers may add scam token using Pancakeswap, use the name of the token and the news that they will be listed in Binance soon.
Unfortunately, these accusations affect Binance itself, as they buys some tokens at a low price and sells them as soon as their listing is announced.
In general, it is dangerous to buy tokens even after they are listed in Binance, because most of them will never reach to ATH again. It is safer and better to buy a bitcoin

How will the news know those who continue to buy these fake tokens? Really misleading for those who buy it.

The price continues to soar after I just saw it, it's possible that there are still people who continue to buy it without stopping, haven't they done some research?

Even this afternoon, if I'm not mistaken, I saw that in the Facebook group there was someone who bought it with a large number of LAZIO tokens and after they wanted to sell they couldn't then asked the group to be able to sell it, I think this is really stupid.

I dont think this is the first time that a DEX has been found harboring fake tokens, but maybe less number of such incidents are posted here. These type of traps can be avoided by checking the token smart contract address first with the coins that you own and then going forward with the trade. It is a bit tricky for less tech-savvy users to go through all the hexadecimal strings and keep patience when the market is going haywire, but these simple things can help keep your money safe.

The DEX owners can be contacted on telegram and they should be made aware of this case, I hope they will cooperate in this situation.
The desire to buy early at a low price make traders forget that DEX is always the center of attention of scammers who deceive many of their victim. I think they are greedy in hopes of selling it at a high price because the token is partnered with Binance, but unfortunately that is a common trap to find on DEX exchanges. I remember a while back someone also warned the community to be careful with fake altcoin on the dex exchange on the Beginners & Help boards, I didn't manage to find that thread now but at least was warned.

I don't know actually how much these fake tokens are Trading right now in dex exchanges. I have noticed when Uniswap was lunching that a lot of Fake tokens are trading when I search on dextool. Basically they focus on the new tokens and make fake one. So that if someone try to any tools like dextool they see the fake token name also. And thus some fool people tey to invest in those fakes.

Sometime these people must habe reallt thought a hard lesson in life. People should be aware that a project whom gonna list on Binance IEO cant be sold until the event have happened. Sorry for your friend it seems that he got fooled by this scammer and taken advantage of the situation.
Even now the price is still increasing, so it's possible that there are still many who buy with this fraudulent token, unlucky he made a lot of profit from people who don't know.

Yes, my friend was deceived by this token, he even said he had bought with a capital of $100, and when he wanted to sell he couldn't, obviously this is a trap for him who is too greedy for profit, but in fact he was fooled by scamers.

I've told my other friends not to buy tokens that are not official, and Binance is one of the token sales.

I am never tired of being amazed at how many financially illiterate people are still in the crypto space, especially when it comes to false claims about the upcoming listing on Binance. Over the past 4 years, Binance has unequivocally continued to repeat that any project that creates this kind of noise is fraudulent, since according to the Binance rules, the project has no right to make such an announcement earlier than Binance, (even if the listing agreement is real). In addition, to be honest, I am not at all sorry for those who fall for this trick, in the end it will be a great lesson for them that they will definitely learn.  Tongue

The decentralized exchange will always warn traders before buying a new token that is not officially on their list that scammers can create similar tokens, it's important that before you trade on a new token to get the official contract of the token from the official website or telegram channel, and always confirm the contract address, if you do this you will not get scammed, educate yourself, think first before you trade.

Stupid scammers.

What happened:
I was told by a friend that he had bought LAZIO tokens at Pancekswap, so when he wanted to resell it,  couldn't even though he had tried with high slippage, and I told my friend that the token was not official but a group of scammers who took advantage of the opportunity where the official LAZIO token would be Launchpad on Binance.

So for anyone, especially beginners who found this post on Twitter today, do some more research, don't be tempted by cheap prices because it will trap you.
