I hope they don't consider that it's such a small amount that support is willing to give it back to you.
$6k is not a small amount of money no matter in which corner of the world you are living.

Yep, but in the history of locking funds by freewallet that I know so far, they only wantrd to recover Musk's funds which I estimate is not just $100k. Cool

First, no hurt feeling; no one cares about your daughters birthday. It's an unknown place you are now.

Second, what the hell is FREEWALLET.ORG?
I am not saying that I did not hear the name but after checking the link you provided in OP I see they are red all around. I have no idea how are they still doing business.

I hope they don't consider that it's such a small amount that support is willing to give it back to you.

I live in Argentina and here is a lot of money 60,000 usd I have not earned in my whole life… those 6000 were all my savings

I don't know why you are now mentioning ten times the amount if this whole thread is about how you lost $6000?  I live in the EU, and both of the amounts you mention are significant amounts for me - but that $6000 was payment for the work you did, I don't know what kind of savings you're talking about now?

I wrote you some of the possible solutions, and if I were you, I would seriously consider them, because there is no point in crying over spilled milk.

Hello, I'll tell you first, it wasn't my idea that it sounded like I'm asking for money, second, I just had to tell the subject because when they read the whole chat they would see the reason for my concern...
It was supposed to be your money. The reason why you want your money doesn't matter. You can spend it on a birthday party, gamble it away, or buy a car with it. I said supposed to because if you had used an appropriate and non-custodial wallet, it would always remain your money. Now, it's Freewallet's.

this shitty wallet doesn't accept bsc red, so it got stuck there...
I have no idea what "BSC red" is. You mentioned DAI in the OP. Depositing a non-supported token or using the wrong network is your mistake no matter what wallet you use. The only difference is that if you had used a wallet where you control the private keys, you could now take those keys and import them in a different wallet where that asset is supported. Since that wasn't the case, you are unfortunately stuck dealing with a scam service that doesn't want to bother to recover your crypto.

You should have done background checks on the fraudulent wallet service before sending them any funds and most importantly, you should have opted for only noncustodial wallets like metamask. That way, even with such a mistake, you would still be able to recover your funds by yourself.

Wake up mate. Crypto is all about having control of your funds.

You made several cardinal mistakes that you definitely should have avoided at all costs :

- accepting payment in something that usually causes problems like this for people, because that whole shitcoins network is a big confusion for me personally.

- first research, only then start using - in this case freewallet is such a problematic service that it surely has the status of "number 1 scamming wallet/service" on this forum.

Furthermore, do you want to say that exactly that $6k is something you planned to spend on your daughter's birthday? I don't know where you live, but for ten times the amount I would make a very good party for at least 40-50 people, and if it is so important to you to organize that party, there are banks and non-purpose quick loans, or you can sell/pawn something, or borrow from relatives/friends.

That whole story with your daughter's birthday was completely unnecessary. It makes you sound like you want to get some sympathy and free money from people from this forum. And begging isn't allowed as per the forum rules. As you can see from the profile of Freewallet, they have been tagged multiple times and there are flags against them for their scams. You wouldn't be the first one who they scammed and I dare to say not the last one. I wish you had taken the time to research the reputation of this horrible wallet before you deposited any money to it.

But that doesn't seem to be your only mistake. Judging by one of the replies from their support agent, you used the wrong network.

I wish you luck in recovering your coins, but there is nothing that anyone here can do for you.

According to their announcement, Freewallet only supports ERC20 network DAI. I hope they don't consider that it's such a small amount that support is willing to give it back to you. For sure they will charge for it.
However, I'm not sure, in fact freewallet is known to be a scam centralized wallet here. Just hope for the best and keep in touch with them regularly

It seems to me that you need to contact their technical support directly, and not try to solve problems on the forum. I don't know about others but my problems were solved in this way very effectively.

What happened:
hello people, good afternoon, I want to tell you about my horrible experience that was insoluble and painful for my daughter….  About a month ago, a partner paid me some design and development services for the binance platform, he sent me 6k in the crypto dai, through the BSC network, a network that freewallet accepted at the time and now I don't... my money is left in nowhere.  When I communicated with free wallet for several days, they shield themselves by copying and pasting, copying and pasting, but that is not the saddest thing... the saddest thing is that they left my daughter without her 15th birthday party, which will take place on August 29, currently I don't have my money for the party since they (FREEWALLET.org) refuse to release my money and return it to me, they just say that they don't have a time limit for releasing the money, they forbid me to give me the private keys and return my money, and also in releasing it, forgetting the great importance of my daughter's birthday, as if my daughter were trash... when I always trust them, now I can't have the party I don't come with the money I'm definitely going to leave a wallet in case someone wants donate and also my telegram in case a lawyer is willing to take the case because if the money is not released I will initiate legal action, the money raised with the donation will be for my daughter's 15th birthday... more until d  Say thanks to all… and don't use freewallet.org their support is rubbish and they keep your money…
