Nice find. You will see such scams all the time whether it be new computer virus or a new scam trap. Anything that comes into trend and hype in crypto currency or in global news, scammers always make a trap related to it. I wonder if it is working really tho?.   Roll Eyes

I am not familiar with PayPal very much so I just want to ask can't we report the email ID used for the participation fee?

scammers in the world of cryptocurrencies are the worst people on earth, there are times when I think these scammers in the world of cryptocurrencies are the devil himself disguised as a person. We have seen many very sad cases where these scammers have not had mercy on people, but what we are seeing at the moment is from a very deplorable level. Is something very disgusting. a few days ago I saw this on the news site:

Scammers Impersonate World Health Organization to steal btc covid 19 donations

when i read this news, i thought: there is something very wrong with this world, it is not possible that even in a moment as sad as this, people have no feelings. we are talking about a virus that if hard measures are not taken to contain, the entire population of the world it can be reduced to a frightening level and even with this situation there are people who think of stealing those who are suffering a lot

Those low-life are really taking advantage of this whole hysteria and then play psychology on people.

Pretending to help them in this time of need, promising give-aways and such, but at the end of the end, it's going to be a double whammy for the victims.

All we can do is equip ourselves with knowledge so that we won't fall for this kind of trick.

I can't believe this. Scammers find a new way again to scam people. While browsing my facebook, this is what I saw.

Here is the mechanics they have provided on how to join on their ncovid btc giveaway;

And they also have fake proof for their transactions;

We are suffering from this crisis but then there are still people who are taking advantage of corona virus to fraud innocent individual. Paying fee? And then depositing? That's an absurd and obvious scam. I have reported that post to facebook already.

Let us report it to stop them from spreading and sharing the content. That is definitely a fake btc giveaway. No such thing as that who will give credit every 48 hours.
